Vishal in my opinion was much too defensive for the first 4:30 minutes he did not luanch a single attack and went down 5:0 pts fought back but tto late , possibly he was the better wrestler in strength and technique , but he lost out on attitude

Personally we had 4 wrestlers who are good in freestyle and I expected all of them to medal ........ Naveen, Sachin , Kaliramana , deepak ................... Naveen looks good and won in the bout against fix he looked dominant , Kaliramana lost his quarters narrowly and the MDA wrestler lost narrowly in the semis , looking forward to seeing Sachin and possibly Indias best bet Deepak in action today

the japanese samurai women back to form , they were in asian juniors beaten by the chinese ........so I was expecting some trouble , but they bought back the phenomenal yu from the senior team ............................. India win 4th medal at juniors so we have beaten our very best total I think ever which is 3 ....... with freestyle yett to come , our team is phenomenal this year my prediction of 6-8 medals seems fairly doable ...... manasi tomorrow maay win us a medal , but for karuna who is repechage I have lower hopes .... then comes freestyle ... deepak punia and sachin rathi and vishal kaliraman in middle weights and naveen in the 57 are the pick of the lot......a couple of new names so they may also be good

I think we had a bad draw , 3/5 of our women lost to japanese ( which normally means an automatic repechage) ............... and also to add to our misfortunes the same half seem to have the russians also ................... One semifinal( loss ) by anshu was the best , but there is a russian in her half so we would need to see what happens in the bronze match ................... another girl in the repechange but has to face a russian again if she reaches the bronze match so thinks not looking bright ...... hopefully one medal by Anshu ....the draw tomorrow looks slightly but not a lot better tomorrow with manasi again facing a chinese and a russian ......................So hoping for the best ........................ Our womens squad is reasonable but does not have any one really classy who can seriously take on the Japnese or even russians

Actually you have missed shooting ...... where we today have the best junior team ....today we also have a classy jr team in tt ....judo / taekwondo i wish ........... but yesterday we had our best GR wrestlers Sajan , vijay .. today except kundu all are unknown let us see if we have the class....... also good draws favored us yesterday ...... but that being said really awesome job by coaches to improve GR ...,, also our freestyle team is really good in the asian juniors we were head to head with IRI so have high hopes there.... women are decent too .... so hoping for our best ever perf in junior wrestling

I never imagined this in a world championship .......... let us hope for three medals as well ....Sajan is a very impressive wrestler ( world champs bronze last time , Asian junior gold so i expected great things from him ) ....along with deepak punia 87 free is the best wrestler we have in this juniors

what a performance ....our junior squad is now the best in the world ................... some of juniors like Manu and Anish shot at the senior level had they continued in the junior level we would have smashed chinas junior squad by a margin ...even now it was 22 - china , 20 India on medal count

probably for the nth time on this forum ...... But this world championship has been WOOOOOOO for India We ended this with 27 medals and this by far the best we have ever done ( India has won around 30 Medals all around in world championships till now ) and we have the best junior squad in the world ..... I know we were narrowly beaten by china .......but many of our junior squad have already transitioned to our senior squad ( while chinas juniors stayed in the junior squad ) , if they had continued in the junior squad they would have beaten china comprehensively

India and russia now head to head with 9 gold each ..... i feel we can finish ahead with std pistol events which have been indias pet events yet to come tomorrow last day

Just checked on https://www.issf-sports.org/competitions/venue.ashx?cshipid=1750 ....... these medals are not going to be included to total apparently ...helps us keep ahead of Germany and Hopefully by tomorrow take India into the third place
