but if you see the Thai shooter she was ahead twice and let Rahi sneak ahead ...... shooting is like that .......... Finals are about confidence and this is still npt manus favorite event ....hope she comes back in the 10m

I was watching the hockey match India Vs HK ...... It was really like they were standing around taking shots at the goal ...it is 8-0

I think they are scared that if they get a single doping issue they may be out of olympics ....so they are not taking chances I feel .......mirakhom is injured so that was a sure medal lost ...... I am not sure about why Rahul is not there ... he was a possible medal chance I feel .....

I also see the same trend in trying to drop all the high weight events in Boxing , karate and weight lifting which would have hit Iran the worst .... but the succeeded in boxing which is shameful ...... a core event in a core sport ;-( .......... these guys are idiots and this will never help them become a good sporting nation ....... I estimate we lost at least 5 golds due to the changes , primarily in team sports in shooting as well as compound archery

seems fair ....people get to see a localised sport .... the host team gets extra few medals but the core events must be untouched to maintain continuity for a nation

Also the absolutely ridiculous thing they have done in not having compound mens and womens individual , dropping team events in shooting ...... I am convinced that they have decided they must come at least 4th or 5th and the only way is to reduce medals for people like India and Iran who woudl otherwise compete for these positions

I really am so happy with the indian performance till now ....... each medal is world class - wrestling lower weights , shooting pistol and rifle - this is where the competition is truly world class, possiby only trap is the standard not completely world class at the Asian games

Archery - mens individual compound and womens individual compound events are not there at all ...... so reduce 2 and make it 5 Atheletics - we will definitely get more - womens 1500 womens U chitra has the asian leading time .., in fact India has the 1st and second best time... jinson would also medal in 1500.... hembran is a fav for gold in womans heptathalon ..... in mens shotput tejinder has the mens leading time .... nayana will medal in w long .... india has a good chance of medals in womens 400mh and 10000 m and so does dharun in 400m mens hurd.... so i am hoping closer to 20 in ath I feel wrestling your numbers look too strong i feel only 4 with bajrang , vinesh , sushil and harpreet and divya as prospects and 4 of them medalling ............ rest of your analysis I am fine with but i feel we will win one medal in equistrian and a couple in Rollerskating and one gymnastics if dipa is back to form..and possibly 1-2 in sepak and 1 in bridge .... i feel 75 is possible .... lower than 70 would be below par for this team..... looking forward to the best performance in total and most golds ever in this games
