  1. It sounds good to me and this is what I need during this outbreak but government failed to offer for me.
  2. Only some personal thought by a few Japanese officials, but the effect 10000 times magnified by social platforms and media.
  3. Hangzhou already object and protest the postponement of the Olympics to 2022. It will cause a series of chaos.
  4. A good news hopefully comfort the anxiety. The joint vaccine development of a Chinese biotech company and the army made a breakthrough today. They received the permit to conduct clinical trials and begin to publicly recruit volunteers. Also they claimed ready for mass production. The company is CanSino Biologists which is a Hong Kong listed company. It’s supposed to publish any breakthrough made to the public.
  5. I hope IOC decide it later in May. If decision made by current situation, it must be postponed. But what if it’s contained in May, it’s still possible.
  6. Haha, for both sides of these kind of news, no one actually take it seriously. I just rolled my eyes and move on. Apparently enough that Chinese official just want to satirize the American politician as the humorous same way.
  7. I think there is no official conclusion yet. But during the interview Chinese doctors said, for mild-symptom patients, no damage would be left. For in-beds patients, the lung damage would be left depending on the severity and the treatment methods, varying from 0%-80% damage. Mostly just slight damage I hope.
  8. The term "group immunity" is introduced by Boris in Chinese media. And the media interpret it as first 60%-70% people infected and then gradually stop spread by huge amounts of antibody. If I understand it correctly, those vulnerable are already dead during this process, only those strong enough are left, more like an evolution process. On the other hand, during this process say 50% people infected with 15% are in critical condition, that means 7.5% population or 5 million people in UK need beds and medics. It's obviously over capacity. Can't imagine the picture like that. So based on the interpretation above, Chinese media criticize countries trying to adopt "group immunity” are irresponsible and cruel. I am sure if I am misled by media and also I am curious about foreigners' opinion on it.
  9. Very clear and presentable. Love your work. But still I have a question, I am not sure if this situation should be considered. Let me take CHN as an example, it's the team I am familiar with most. Given CHN qualified 2+ women boats in 2019 WCH already, we don't have qualification to compete the continental quotas initially. We could only compete for final regatta. It seems the W LW 2x quota for CHN is an extra gift due to no more continental qualifiers. Maybe same situation for NZL. But I am not sure if am correct.
  10. If 2019 WCH results used, China women's eight and four will qualify. It means another 13 persons can participate. That's why I care.
  11. It's related to a huge religious gathering of 16k people in a Kuala Lumper mosque. And there are also cases of Singapore and Brunei related to it. Worrying
  12. Most Chinese believe in the government. Because we can see the measures taken to contain the spread and effort made both by medics and government. It happened on us, not just reported by media. Most measures are very strict but effective in this special moment, like lockdown, mandatory quarantine and definitely no any forms of gathering. The cover-up at the very beginning is stupid, the shortage of medical resource of Wuhan at the early phase is troublesome and worrying, but the strong actions taken next proved working well. The virus is contained and most patients are already recovered. People outside Hubei province are back to normal life now. We experienced a silent February and everything paused for one and half month. But people think the sacrifice is worth it. All in all, people do not fear now and things back to normal gradually. People think government did wrong at the beginning but measures taken to contain it is very effective. Considering no one knows the degree of severity and infectivity at the beginning, people think government did a good job in general. One more thing, the reason why overseas Chinese flee back to China is that they think people overseas underrated the severity. The ignorance would lead to great outbreak later.
  13. Beijing's daily new patients first time surpassed Wuhan today, 5 vs 4, and all are imported cases, from Spain, Italy and Thailand. So Beijing announces from 16th March, whoever enters Beijing from overseas must be mandatorily quarantined for 14 days in government arranged hotels with passengers' own expense. I guess this policy will soon be adopted by all Chinese ports. With huge amounts overseas Chinese flee back to China, preventing imported cases becomes the first priority.
  14. I am listing the songs right now but I have a question. Should my voting exclude the song of my country?
  15. I think giving the points and ranking based on the qualification is a relatively fair solution. Athletes risk their health so much to compete and earn the badly needed points. I know Netherland quit the event but Zoderland chose to stay because he needed it so badly as well as other staying athletes. Their effort and risking should be paid off. But even if Petrounias given 30 points this stage with 15.100 score is not enough to be qualify. 15.100 means it requires 15.332 next stage to surpass Liu Yang which is only theoretically possible for rings. Sad for gymnastics fans but good news for team Chinese.
  16. Can't believe it... Chinese athletes wasted a whole month in Doha preparing for it...
  17. He said he is negative.
  18. I know this matter very clear. 99% Liu Yang of the ring will qualify and the tomorrow's result will make it 100%. The other two Chinese athletes can't directly qualify through this individual world cup ranking system, but one of them may be assigned by the other quota. Keikha has a great chance. His rival is not Chinese but Japanese. If he wins the gold, he will earn 30 points and total 80 points with a tie to Japanese athlete who is not on the list of this stage. There is tie break rule to compare their average score of 3 highest stages. But it's supposed to be temporary, there still comes another stage (if it will be held). In my memory that Japanese will not participate the last stage. That means Keikha has one more chance to surpass him. Edit: Though Wen Hao may not win the quota, if he wins the gold tomorrow, he will get 30 pts. If so, Keikha can not surpass the Japanese even can't share a tie.
  19. Every country has its own traditions hence lots of habits can't be changed in a short time. I've been to Iran for traveling, people are truly very very enthusiastic, warm-heated and talkative. But as long as you keep staying at home, you are safe. It's the stupid and effective way we handle it.
  20. Calm down bro. It's not the first and not the last "interesting" news from US media. We are so used to it and just let it be. Let me show you something reported by NY times with 20 minutes interval which shows their attitudes towards the lockdown in Wuhan and Italy. One is violation of human right and the other is sacrificing themselves to save the Europe.
  21. If it's in May, it could just go back to China.
  22. It is because at the beginning government enforce the policy "No Test No Patient" and then required a very strict requirement to take a test because of the shortage of test kits. But sadly the story repeated in many places again...
  23. I am just curious about the Olympic quotas at the end of 2019, and I searched out your Weibo and this forum. Very good job, bro. You are way too professional.
  24. I followed your Weibo a couple of months ago and I am a new sport fan. But I guess that doesn't count we know each other yet.
