well, I am not a doctor or Indonesian expert. I can not make a prediction. Actually all these pandemic and postponement make the Tokyo Olympic a more legendary one. It definitely draws much more attention of the world. And it makes me even more determined to go to Japan next year to enjoy it. It’s somethings you can never miss. Maybe they will earn money and more reputable, more successful. Who knows.

Still remember the news Masayoshi Son the Japanese billionaire initially wanted to donate 10 millions testing kits to government but hugely scolded by Japanese people, saying that it will lead to huge amount people going to hospital and created chaos and panic, with huge amount of patients even may lead to the postponement or cancelation of Olympics. So he changed to donate face masks at the end. No worries now.

The postponement of Olympics will free the Japanese government. The focus will finally be back on coronavirus. I wonder if the steady linear growth of the cases will finally be an exponential one.

I feel sad for those veteran players. They face much more difficulties than those younger ones and they have to keep their conditions for one more year. I know at least 5-10 Chinese athletes may lose their chance due to their age, injuries and conditions. Some young players may have better chance. Sort of unfair for their persistence.

I guess no international sports events in summer. even some countries contain the pandemic earlier than others, people still go against international travel.

Abe officially suggests one year postponement to IOC. I really don't like it personally. postpone to the end of the year is acceptable for me.

If situation goes very bad, they will be evacuated immediately. If still waiting for commercial flights, it means situation is still under control. They will just be fine, I still think so. Chinese are good at protecting themselves, hahaha.

No updates of the Chinese players, either from their social platform accounts or media. Also not sure if they are still in England either. For young athletes, most of them are with mild symptoms and recover themselves. So I think they are fine.

Let's take the whole China as an experiment. We are little rats now, some people fear and discriminate people leaving Hubei, but I'm totally OK with it. I hope people leaving Hubei will be equally treated, they shouldn't be hurt again and I tend to believe they are healthy enough to be 'released'.

Great news for people from Wuhan and Hubei province. The lockdown of Hubei province except Wuhan will be lifted from 25th March, the lockdown of Wuhan bill be lifted from 8th April. The internal restrictions are being removed gradually these days such as public transportation, restaurants. More importantly, People can finally leave Wuhan from 8th April and go to wherever they want to.

In Hong Kong, you need to wear an electronic bracelet to trace you. In most part of China, you are not allowed to quarantine at your home, must in arranged hotel. Only for a few people, you could be quarantined at home with a CCTV outside the door connected to the local government.

Not an official date for Wuhan, but other cities in Hubei province except for Wuhan lift the restrictions gradually. And doctors from other provinces assisted Hubei went back to their home mostly. A positive signal is that government disinfected a major Wuhan train station yesterday. People think it's the signal that wuhan train station would be back to function soon.

A aerial documentary shown the picture of Wuhan under and before the lockdown. 3:00-4:30 minutes shows the past situation, rest is under the current lockdown, you can distinguish by the tone of the music.

It takes quite a while. Wuhan started lockdown on 23th Jan, daily new patients start to decline from 4th Feb.

I wonder if the conflict between Turkey and Russia in Syria temporarily stops due to the coronavirus. I didn't hear any endless middle east conflicts after the outbreak.

They are not numbers. They are people with family and lovers and so many vivid stories sharing with the world. It reminds me of the stories I read about Wuhan people. They are only numbers on news but so many desperate moments patients and medics have to face. My best wishes for Italy and brave Italian people.

For Chinese table tennis players, world no.1 is not a guarantee for participating Olympics though 2 quotas available. World ranking is just for reference, head coach have the final say to choose which 2 players to play. In Rio current women world no.1 Liu Shiwen failed to participate single event but luckily she was on team event.
