    It was really a messy game. As an outsider of boxing, I would favor the Iranian and I thought the Chinese would lose. But turn out the score is so split, don't know the reason why and no one will specifically explain the rules to me. The Chinese news will just say nothing meaningless and congrats the winner.

    Total disaster today. Poor performance of the players and the terrible equipment of the uneven bars. The uneven bars may cause serious injury of the athletes, can't imagine it happen on World Cup series USA stage. The Chinese athlete Zhang Jin is even worse beyond my imagination and she will not appear in Tokyo for sure now.

    Around 70 people in the hotel. Can't believe how come a hotel would fall in 2020

    I will go. Accommodation will be cheaper and tickets will be easier to buy. I am going to start to plan the trip until May so I still have plenty of time to monitor the situation.

    I mean UWW currently faces difficulties finding a host to hold some continental qualifiers which will affect the worldwide one. They can postpone the continental and world qualifiers to May. If the outbreak ends that time, the qualifiers and Olympic can be both held. If not, they could be both postponed. The situation would be clear in May and not necessarily hurrying finish all qualifiers in April.

    UWW could postpone all qualifiers to May. If qualifiers still can not be held that time, it means Olympic will also be postponed or canceled.

    Maybe ACL with different severity, I am not sure either. Let's see her recovery in Tokyo. She might meet Gong Li if they both qualify. BTW still no official announcement of the cancelation of Rabat stage with one week left. Is it going to be held as usual？

    A lot of athletes suffered from ACL, some of them just fade out or retired because of it. Most Chinese athletes will do surgery in USA with expectation 6-9 months for recovery.If it really works in 2-3 months, it will be a new magic. Looking forward to your update.

    I think Tian if preferred if he and Li Fabin are both healthy. Because 96kg is a heavy class wihch China never conquers before. It will be a breakthrough if Tian makes it.

    going crazy about political correctness. IOC should be with one male president and one female president, and 5 vice presidents from 5 continents with exact 5 different colors.

    It's a good news for every asian country. No one wants to travel right now regardless of the destination. And those football stars currently in European leagues won't be distracted and concentrate on the qualifier later.

    I watched all Chinese bouts and some other bouts today. Some Chinese players lost and some won. I think generally the referees are quite fair, all the results are as what I expected, nothing surprised me. It makes me more confident with this qualifier. How about you guys think?

    Japanese Olympic committee head said if the coronavirus outbreak keep spreading, IOC agrees the Olympic Games could postpone to the end of 2020. Source from Chinese media, but I think English news will be released soon.

    That explains why Asians wonder Europeans not wearing masks to protect themselves and also Europeans may wonder if Asians wearing masks are patients.

    Actually it works and very important. I have seen a scientific video to show the rationale of wearing masks and washing hands to prevent virus. I think it mostly to prevent droplets.

    I can't understand the seeding rules. Some competitive Chinese women's players including Olympic medalist and Asian Games champion NOT seeded! And they will meet some other big names in quarter final and only one could be qualified.

    I wonder how to decide the 5 or 6 quotas when there are 8 quarter-final players?

    Any seeded list? Some seeded players just need one win to grab the quota. China boxing federation didn't publish any thing except those official website already published.
