  6. Almost all bets were made by you guys, if they are easy it's on you
  7. It's the first time since I have memory that winter games aren't even shown in at least one channel live.
  8. Sadly, the only from the games we will watch here is a short daily review in one channel And I'm too old and busy to search for streams during the night, so... the closest i will be to this games is Wikipedia.
  9. Ok, time's up. Sadly, I think around 8 participants will be disqualified . I will soon post the list from which you will be able to follow what bets are being answered as the Games progress.
  10. Yes, of course. That is why it's called a deadline
  11. BET CONTEST - SECOND REVISION OF USER POSTS Few hours remain to the deadline (February 9th, 8:35 AM Korea Time, GMT +9). After this, I won't be checking your posts until the Games are finished, so if you want to enter now, please be sure to check your post and count your points carefully. Risk of disqualification... @tigersay Incomplete post. @titicow Exceeded by 20 points. @Nate River please, fix bet number 11. @SzG No points given. Please, read the rules. @Kirkpatrick Exceeded by 10 points. @GianniL Exceeded by a lot of points. @Gigs Bet number 22 has more than 10 points. @Wanderer Incomplete post @Hipooo Exceeded by a lot of points. @Herberth Nelson Balbi Silveira Incomplete post. Those of the above mentioned that have small mistakes (Nate River in particular), if you read this after the deadline, then don't edit, send me a PM with your correction instead.
  12. Today started both the men and women's indoor world cups. I'm not particularly interested in indoor hockey but it has free YouTube livestream on the FIH channel and some "exotic" nations (for this sport at least) like or participate.
  13. No, no, you didn't have to remove any points. When I checked your post you used 222, so you still had 28 more points to use. That isn't an infraction, I just told you so you can use all 250 points.
  14. BET CONTEST - FIRST REVISION OF USER POSTS Well, I have made a first revision of the posts of every participant so far and the users mentioned below have some problems in their posts. There will be a second (and last) revision 24 hours before the deadline to enter the contest. After that, I won't look at your posts until it's time to post the final results, so if you enter the contest in the last 24 hours please check and double check your post. Risk of disqualification... @Bohemia has left one bet without points (number 5), has currently distributed less than 250 (but that isn't a motive of DSQ). @stamura84 Excess of points distributed. @titicow Excess of points distributed. @ArK Some bets have more than 10 points assigned, you can only place up to 10 points in a bet. Not at risk of disqualification, but have used less than 250 points (just a favor from your host )... @Pablita @Federer91 @dcro @bestmen @uk12points @EselTheDonkey Also @tigersay, @Dunadan and @OlympicsFan haven't filled up their predictions completely, but I'm sure they will do at the end.
  15. yes, no relays. Sorry, should have added that.

  17. Do you have a deal with sindo to promote your site? Because if not you are gonna get deleted
  18. World Cup Play-off 2nd leg: defeats 32-31 at home qualifies for 2019 World Cup. will now go to repechage tournament for final place (probably against and either or )
  19. Delete FIGC entirely.
  20. PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Bet Contest is now OPEN Please, READ THE RULES carefully before posting. And keep track of the NUMBER OF POINTS you distributed at the end, this is very important. I will try to warn users that have excess of points few days before the deadline, but you will be disqualified if you're exceded by even 1 point (it's tough but there is no other option unfortunately, otherwise I wouldn't be able to keep the contest fair). Also, if you detect any ambiguity or problems with the bets (or if you just need some clarification of the meaning), don't hesitate to tell me here. This contest is tough to make so it's always possible that I didn't notice some flaw in the bets. The sooner we see them the better, of course. Good Luck!
  21. You have a total of 250 points to distribute for all 70 bets. You don't have to use all 250 points if you don't want to, but you can't go above 250 for all 70 bets. You MUST hide your post. To do that, you have only to delete the space between the bracket "[" and the text "hide" in "[ hide]" at the beginning of prediction post. 22. Prediction Contests Are Just-For-Fun Games You don't need to be an expert to take part in a Prediction Contest. If a mistake penalizes you, always keep in mind that everyone is in good faith. Competition Details City PyeongChang Start Date February 9th, 2018 End Date February 26th, 2018 Participants 49 Gold Dunadan Silver phelps Bronze Albe Instructions In order to post your predictions, you have to do the following: Select with your mouse specified content of the Post named Prediction Contest Design Copy the selected content Go to Reply Box at the end of the Page, click on "Reply to this topic" Paste the copied content (When information "You have pasted content with formatting" appears at the end of the Reply Box, ignore it, it will disappear eventually. DO NOT click on "Remove formatting" under any circumstances) Once you have specified content in new Post, start making your predictions according to the Rules To post your predictions, click on "Submit Reply" button Rules Erase "Yes" or "No", depending on what your answer for each single bet will be. If you want to answer a bet with "Yes", all you have to do is erasing the word "No", leaving only "Yes" as your answer. Overwrite the "X" with a number between 1 and 10. Those will be the points you distribute for a specific bet. If you win a bet, you will win the amount of points you gave for that bet, but be careful, if you lose the bet, the amount of points you gave for that bet will be taken away from your overall points in this contest. You can't leave out a bet. All bets must be given 1 point minimum at least. 10 points per bet are the maximum. Example "Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) will win at least 3 Gold Medals." - YES - 7 - If you choose “Yes” and she wins 3 gold medals, you will win the bet and get points for that question - 7 points won. - If she doesn’t while you said "Yes", you’ll lose the bet and points - 7 points lost. - If you choose "No" and she wins all 3 gold medals, you will lose the bet - 7 points lost. - If she doesn't while you said "No", you will win the bet and points - 7 points won. You have a total of 250 points to distribute for all 70 bets. You don't have to use all 250 points if you don't want to, but you can't go above 250 for all 70 bets. Use your points wisely. The user with the highest amount of points at the end of the competition (after the end of the Games) will be declared the winner. Should there be more than one user with the same amount of points, the first priority will be the amount of bets won, then the highest scores won in those same bets. The final answers for the contest's bets will be set as of February 26th (the day after the olympics), meaning possible future changes in them (ie. due to doping cases) won't be taken into consideration. If a bet is already decided before the start of the Games (due to injury of an athlete mentioned in it, doping, etc) that bet will be eliminated from the contest and all users will be asked to re-distribute the points they invested in said bet. If an user is unable to edit his post before the start of the competition, then those points will be lost for the final count. Please, take into account when placing your bets that for all of those that ask for the position of a nation in the medal table we are using, unless specifically said otherwise, the criteria of Gold Medals first (then Silvers, then Bronzes). You can only enter the competition before the start of competition on the Day of the Opening Ceremony. February 9th, h. 08:35 (GMT +9) will be considered the deadline, you can’t enter the contest after that and you can't edit your votes after that. Every contestant MUST HIDE their own predictions. To do that, you have only to delete the space between the bracket "[" and the text "hide" in "[ hide]" at the beginning of prediction post. Do the same with "[ /hide]" at the end of prediction post too. The hidden content will appear to other users as follows: [hide]k[/hide] Please post your comments, thoughts, questions concerning this competition in the specific Discussion Topic created for it. If you have any other questions concerning this prediction contest, problems with format, editing etc... please, contact the contest manager via Personal Message.
  23. I don't know about that name but it's probably like old the world league rounds for lower ranked countries. That should places in final olympic qualification tournament, which will be one big tournament with 12 teams.
  24. ooops forget everything I said, just found out we won a leg in 2009 long time ago, but still yay.
