  10. Guys, last days to make suggestions. So far we are ok in everything except Freestyle Skiing, for which only OlympicsFan has made suggestions (4 of them). We need more, can someone make some? Also would be welcome if you want to make some more for Speed Skating (also short track). @heywoodu so far you didn't suggest anything, not interested in doing so?

  12. I can't find the post now but I told him exactly the same thing one year ago haha
  13. I can't believe i'm 2nd place in a tennis contest... I think I never was higher than 15th. I don't even have a clue why, I missed a lot of stuff... the only "surprises" I got right are Keys and Chung pretty much.

  15. I only watch our league when matches are shown on tv (a few every week), then Perugia occasionally. Don't really have time to watch more than that though I follow results and statistics of every team in the world that has an argentine player in it. Oh, all this is men's volleyball. I don't watch women's at all, only follow national teams.

  17. Berdych played very well but Del Potro looked like he could barely bother to move. Unfortunately he doesn't have fitness level required for a Grand Slam anymore, it's a pity.
  18. What did you decide to do with the Q vs Q matches and the last minute withdrawals for those who couldn't edit in time?
  19. Yes, he's a cousin of them. And also his brother and sister do windsurfing too. Big family
  20. Also about calendar: acronym for hockey federation is FIH not IHF.
  21. Well, to be fair it's only you and other 7/8 users who really care about general standings. I don't think it would have an effect on the popularity of contests... those who care about general standings will still participate in all contests, and those who don't care will still play just the contests they feel like doing. For example, I don't think I would suddenly start to participate in biathlon contests even if it starts giving 1000 points for general standings, cuz I don't care about general standings and I don't know anything about biathlon. On the other hand, I would still participate in a rugby contest even if 15 people participate because I simply like and know more about Rugby.
  22. Much easier than I thought it would be for Del Potro. I think he will go smoothly to QF now.
  23. Ah yes, now that I see this I forgot to add: the youth olympics has it's own separate budget because it's funded mostly by the city of Buenos Aires, not the nation... and unsurprisingly it's being a nightmare of overspending, corruption scandals (for example with Myrtha Pools...) a story for another day
