  1. Del Potro's record against the 6 players ranked consecutively above him: Anderson 6-0 Goffin 1-1 Thiem 4-0 Zverev 2-0 Dimitrov 6-2 Cilic 10-2
  2. Women's rugby rarely allows any surprises, I think Brazil is safe for this cycle but we'll see the future. Brazil can't possibly lose in women's handball. In men's handball Brazil losing seems unlikely right now, but Argentina now has a top level coach so I don't know what can happen in one year.

  4. @hoversaBR I like you men's handball prediction even if it's a bit unrealistic
  5. You can predict just one team sport, all of them or as many as you wish, the choice is yours. You can post your predictions as a normal comment or using the template you can find in post #2. If you are using the template, copy and paste the table(s) for the sport(s) you want to add your predictions for. Now you have two ways to add a flag in the each cell: 1) you can add the three letter IOC country code (AUS for Australia, GER for Germany, USA for United States etc.) and when you will save the post the flags will appear; 2) you can select the flag you want from the emoticons list in each cell. These predictions are just for fun, no ranking will be kept. Therefore, you can edit your post whenever you want, even when the qualification period will be started. 3x3 Basketball Men's : : : : : : : - - - - Women's : : : : : : : - - - - Baseball Men's : : : : : Basketball Men's : : : : : : : : : : : Women's : : : : : : : : : : : Handball Men's : : : : : : : : : : : Women's : : : : : : : : : : : Field Hockey Men's : : : : : : : : : : : Women's : : : : : : : : : : : Football Men's : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : - - Women's : : : : : : : : : : : Rugby Sevens Men's : : : : : : : : : : : Women's : : : : : : : : : : : Softball Women's : : : : : Volleyball Men's : : : : : : : : : : : Women's : : : : : : : : : : : Water Polo Men's : : : : : : : : : : : Women's : : : : : : : : : - -
  6. Yes, France is developing a good team. I think soon they may become better than for example Canada or Pakistan.
  7. OOOOH sorry, I forgot about volleyball team, France instead of Slovenia then.
  8. If that is true, then I remove or maybe if they don't take their best players to WC.
  9. Men's basketball (assuming everyone here takes the world cup seriously and with best or close to best squad): I didn't include Japan cuz I Heard there is some sort of standard and they are almost out of WC, right?
  10. Ha, let's have some fun. I'll predict handball, volleyball and field hockey. Men's volley: Womens volley: Men's Field Hockey: Women's Field Hockey: NOTE hockey: I'm predicting in both gender will win african championship but will reject quota. Men's Handball: Women's Handball:
  11. Pools for the Men's World Cup: A - B - C - D - We were handed the worst pool unfortunately, with the hardest teams from band 3 and 4 (Spain and France). All the other pools have at least one clear "weakling". Pool winners go straight to QF, 2nd and 3rd placed teams advance to a pseudo Round 16.
  12. haha againt the main sponsor wins. These awards are a joke.
  13. Rugby Sevens/Field Hockey
  14. PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Bet Contest Final Standing available here Dunadan phelps Albe Italian 1-2-3 for our Bet Contest! @Dunadan impressive as always, managed to obtain a mind-blowing 212 points out of a possible 250 (with 49 bets won). Second place for @phelps who won more bets than Dunadan (51 to be exact), but lost key points in a few bets. 3rd place for @Albe, who was the participant that won the most bets of all (54, really impressive). A special mention to 4th placer @Nate River, unfortunately he couldn't give Canada the first prediction medal of the year (those missed 10-pointers in Speed Skating...). With this, I now go back to prediction management retirement. I won't be organizing the next editions of Bet Contest (unless no one else is willing to do it), so thank you all for everything, from the Bet Contest Organization Committee (LDOG & Quasit)

  16. Sorry, european championship of what exactly?
  17. The grid is finally complete, thanks to everyone for participating! Results will be coming... in a few days.
  18. Thanks for that one (your post is in the previous page btw). We have 4 then, but I just checked all the cross-country participants of the last event and there isn't a single one under the age of 18, so the answer will be a "no"
  19. The Points Race and Madison events in track cycling follow a similar concept with the "lapping the field > sprint points" rule.
  20. Thanks. From what I see there aren't any under 18s in the hockey or curling teams that can win a gold tomorrow and there aren't any U18s either in the current top 7 teams in bobsled 4s (haven't looked up the lower teams though). So, unless there are some U18s in the cross-country event, we are very close to a "no" answer
  21. Participant help needed: does someone know how many under 18 gold medalists we have as of now? I'm only aware of Red Gerard and Zagitova.
  22. Most tech-savy 80 year old for sure, I wouldn't be able to type that fast.
  23. Also he seems to tweet move by move, how can he watch and tweet all that at the same time??
