  1. May he rest in peace.
  2. @thiago_simoes do you think Soldatova's health issue is real, or something dictated by Mamma Viner?
  3. All Around individual finals on Friday, and Groups All Around competition on Saturday, if you're looking for Olympic qualification only. Both will be streamed in FIG's Youtube channel, along with apparatus finals on Tuesday (hoop, ball), Thursday (clubs, ribbon), and Sunday (Groups 5 balls, 3 hoops/2 clubs)
  4. @MHSN does Leyva stands a chance against & to reach the bronze medal match?
  5. They all have subliminal messages to avoid eating corn?
  6. I quite like the design, incorporating some "charro" outfit elements without looking tacky
  7. He must be from Colombia
  8. they were so close to getting a tie against
  9. Stop being jealous because your country has no mountains
  10. New World Record in Women's Sprint set by Kelsey Mitchell 10.154 seconds at the 2019 Pan American Champions in Cochabamba, Bolivia. @intoronto @JoshMartini007 @NearPup
  11. First Gold for Mexico at a World Championships, even if it's in a non Olympic event... great result
  12. And yet, we will not see a sanction to US Track & Field... IAAF's double standards, covering English world athletes. I wouldn't be surprised that a few years from now the likes of Bolt & Farah are uncovered as cheaters.
  13. Almost, but in the end, US team performed better. Yet this is Mexico's best ever participation at the Parapan American Games.
  14. @thiago_simoes Mexican shortlist for the 2019 World Championships in WAG has been announced. The returns of Alexia Moreno, Frida Esparza and veterans Ana Lago and Elsa García... I think they have a very small chance, if they all hit their best level, to be team 12. What do you think? Meanwhile, the MAG shortlist features all three finalists at the Pan Am Games, plus Kevin Cerda.
  15. And Mexico defeats Canada 2-1, earning a spot in Tokyo Now Canada needs Puerto Rico to defeat Brazil, if they want to seal their ticket today; otherwise the decisive match will be played tomorrow.
  16. Well I'm not the kind of person to use any substances of the sort, so while in Mexico, you'll need to find anyone else who wants to party. Starting a couple of years ago, the Supreme Court has started a campaign to legalize the use of drugs for recreation; however there are two things you need to know before thinking you're safe to consum drugs in Mexico: 1) As opposed to other systems, a Supreme Court ruling doesn't have universal effects, meaning you'll need to initiate your own judicial procedure to obtain your own "permission" for drug use. 2) The rulings allow recreational drug use on condition the substance is obtained by licit means, which is not curently possible in Mexico, as the product and sale, and even posesion, of drugs is still a punishable offense in itself.
  17. When you're so atention starved you don't think clear
  18. in an A final, even if it's not an Olympic event
  19. This is the provisional entry list is registered with one athlete (in men's C1 200). Also competing, probably for the first time,
  20. Well it's on their plans... but probably they are just focusing in the Junior Games for the 2021.2024 cycle. It could benefit some disciplines to avoid cramming the Pan American Games with two many events.
  21. Mexico in third place with its best performance by far (37 gold, 36 silver and 63 bronze medals) with the highest total in Pan American Games history, so for me these were a great Games to follow. But all in all, I think Pan Am Sports needs to restructure the Games and its events. I understand each edition they try to give away some medals to the host country... but in true, I think what must be done before adding events just to increase numbers, is to reinforce participation in those events in the Olympic program, and then, those who are popular across the continent.
  22. Well, Chile is also going to Tokyo, unless any other South American team gives a huge surprise.
  23. That's what I understand from the qualification document.
  24. I think only Canada gets a quota in men's individual. @Benolympique
  25. Most probably, yes.
