  1. Maïté Bouchard tripped (or was tripped)
  2. You're right. I'll change later this afternoon.
  3. First Pan American Games record broken Men's Discus - Fedrick DACRES - 67.68 Old Record was 67.32 by Cuban Luis Delis, made 36 years ago at Caracas.
  4. Nothing yet... rather than on men's RS:X I'd like to think is Van Aanholt in women's laser the one that has any chances.
  5. Then it's a rmodification on the original document.
  6. First swimmer achieving Olympic Qualification Time Julia SEBASTIAN - 1:06.98 - Women's 100 Breastroke.
  7. Julia Sebastian qualified for Tokyo
  8. Yadira Silva defeated Mo Zhang in table tennis Great result for Silva, beating the number one seed and 27 in world ranking
  9. Not by Marca Claro... maybe TyC or the Brazilian broadcast.
  10. 10m Platform Women 1. Sofiia Lyskun 2. Celine Van Duijn 3. Iuliia Timoshinina Olympic quota for
  11. Well, according to the document the quotas in the Laser Classes are 2 for North America and 2 for South America . From my point of view, they just decided to award one quota in each gender at Lima and the other one at a World Cup next year.
  12. For those not familiar with the competition system in swimming in place since the 2011 Games, the top 8 advance to "A" final, while the nest 2-8 swimmers compete in the "B" final. The exception are the "distance" events, which are swam in heats, the "slower" one being swam at the end of the morning session, the "faster" at the finals session.
  13. Also tomorrow, Jamaica's first signs of their very serious bid to finish top 10 in the medal count.
  14. Thanks as well to both of you @orangeman & @intoronto... this is one of those sports that don't get too much hype. Hope is not the last time we discuss diving here.
  15. I'm under the impression Canadian coaches are pulishing him just like they did with Riendau before giving him "big tasks" like World Champs and Olympics. He has the potential, just need to better the finish, as he still tends to give rather big splashes.
  16. For me the whole final was biased towards Latin American divers. Both Canadian and Johnson were awarded lower scores all through the night. Like we've been saying, probably Berlín deserved gold, but if judging had been more fair since earlier rounds, that probably would have given a boost to the other three gold hopes.
  17. First accurate note for García in the entire final.
  18. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
  19. And again, Zsombor Murray & Riendau not being fairly judged. Canada should protest, they both should have been in the podium, probably closer to Berlin or even above him.
  20. Gold and Olympic quota for Mexico Great performance for Berlin, congratulations to him.
  21. @LDOG do you know why, in both hockey tournaments, the teams in each semifinal are the same that finished 1-2 in their groups?
  22. Argentina gets the quota for Tokyo
  23. You mean García And still for me, it should have been a 8.0-8.0-8.5 score.
  24. Riendau could still grab silver, gold will be hard and needs both Mexicans to fail. Johnson and Quintero, on their part, will try to take bronze away from Riendau.
  25. And poor Zsombor Murray again unfairly deducted from the judges And the same with Riendau... No doubt, judges are not treating competitors fairly.
