  1. at 7-4 are closing in on a playoff spot up 5-1 over after 5. Could make the Olympic race interesting.
  2. Only Spalding and Brearley qualify for the men's slopestyle final at Worlds... McMorris and Jobin both out.
  3. Dominance from Ledecka
  4. have also qualified for the Olympics.
  5. A Tsubaki v. Ledecka final, couldn’t have asked for a better matchup
  6. 44 year old Fischnaller defying his age, taking down his compatriot Bormolini and advancing to the semifinals!
  7. Oops yeah I forgot to mention Korea Based off of some quick calculations, both and are already confirmed.
  8. Presumably Schroeder will be starting now? I don’t follow PWHL hockey, so I’m not sure which Canadian goalies are next up.
  9. Taking a look at the document again, here’s who can secure/is eligible for team nomination this week at the Freestyle Ski/Snowboard World Championships; Up first; Freestyle Skiing Aerials - Emilie Nadeau, Lewis Irving, Marion Thenault Big Air/Slopestyle - Dylan Deschamps, Olivia Asselin Halfpipe - Brendan MacKay, Rachael Karker, Amy Fraser, Cassie Sharpe (already got the two podiums) Ski Cross - Kevin Drury (already got the two podiums), India Sherret, Marielle Thompson (injured, already got the two podiums), Courtney Hoffos and Reece Howden (already got the two podiums) Meghan Oldham, despite podiuming in most of the WC’s she’s competed in, will have to podium twice because it prioritizes X Games/the Stoneham WC where she couldn’t land a clean run. Think it’ll be between Hoffos, McEwen, and Phelan for those last two Olympic spots in women’s ski cross. Edit: Forgot about Schmidt.
  10. According to the Freestyle Ski Canada Olympic selection procedures document, both Maia Schwinghammer and Mikael Kingsbury have secured their spots on the team in moguls/dual moguls!
  11. Or maybe you’re underestimating how good Team Homan has been this season. It could go either way. I mean a loss to South Korea is definitely not disappointing in itself given I know how good they are, but combined with the loss to Scotland… they only had 6? losses on the season heading into this event… I’m not sure what you mean regarding the bit that we don’t take Worlds seriously.
  12. Horishima Nice silver for Kingsbury, obviously it’s a shame that he couldn’t defend his world title but Horishima’s run was pretty much perfect.
  13. Silver for Mikael Kingsbury in men’s moguls at the Freestyle Skiing/Snowboard World Championships!
  14. A really emotional Perrine Laffont after her gold medal win.
  15. Bronze, and a really nice 4th for Lauriane Desmaris Gilbert!
  16. Podium for Schwinghammer! Now let’s wait and see if it’ll be silver or bronze
  17. World Championships starts today with moguls!
  18. Team Homan drops their second with a loss to South Korea. I know we have extremely high standards for this team but two losses… WTF is going on?
  19. Women’s 3x3 team won gold at the Champions Cup, defeating Spain 15-13 in the final. I obviously watched the final, but couldn’t be bothered to update after Will point out most teams, especially on the women’s side didn’t take this event seriously with the rosters they had, but Spain had a decent lineup. We switched out Michelle Plouffe for Saicha Grant Allen, she had a great tournament for us (besides her FT % in particular and 3PT %, although she usually struggles with those)
  20. Snowboard FIS World Championships 2025 Engadin (SUI) - 20 March 2025 - 29 March 2025 Official Website Programme Results System Facebook Page Discussion Thread
  21. Connor Howe with a surprising bronze in the men’s 1500m at the World Championships!
  22. Who else but Canada winning the final event of Worlds? With their win in the men's 5000m relay, that's 6 golds, 3 silvers, and 9 medals for at these World Championships Oh. My. Word. I'm speachless.
  23. Gold in the men's 5000m relay, completing the sweep on the men's side! 6 golds, 3 silvers, and 9 medals in total. A dream World Championships for us
  24. Surprise silver for Rikki Doak in the women's 500m!
