  6. Team Jacobs win this years Brier, defeating Team Dunstone 5-3 in the final. Undefeated in round robin, lost the page 1/2 qualifier, then rattled off four straight wins for the title. Jacobs with his first Brier title in 12 years.

  10. O’Dine also recorded her best result of the season with a 6th! Mind you… half of the athletes crashed in the small final but still
  11. 10th, 11th and 24th for Alexandria Loutitt, Abigail Strate and Nicole Maurer in women’s large hill at the World Championships.
  12. 4:26.98 for Summer McIntosh in the women’s 400m individual medley at the TYR Pro Swim Series stop in Westmont
  13. 8th for Emma Cooke Clarke in women’s sprint at the ISMF World Championships! Unfortunately, our men struggled. Top men were Aaron Robinson and Matt Ruta in 45th/46th, and around 17 places behind the top American.
  14. Think you did the women’s results link twice
  15. 5th for our men’s relay at the Cross Country Skiing World Championships!
  16. Hallie Clarke sits in the bronze medal position after two of four runs in women’s skeleton at the IBSF World Championships! Really shocking considering how mediocre her results on the WC stage have been for the most part.
  17. 2:04.00 for Summer McIntosh in the women’s 200m butterfly at the TYR Pro Swim Series stop in Westmont. 8th fastest time in history, and yet still looked visibly disappointed with the result.
  18. Not sure how much of an impact it’ll have on the standings, but Canada finished 10th in the mixed relay compared to 12th for the US. Should close the gap I think?
  19. grab the first Olympic quotas in ski mountaineering in the mixed team relay.
  20. Skaslien/Nedregotten win Championships and will look to win a hat trick of Olympic medals in Milano-Cortina next year, assuming they qualify of course.
  21. Brooke McIntosh and Marco Adrion split. I’m not sure whether she’s still representing Spain or not given she doesn’t have very many options partner wise, but my guess is yes. As for some even newer news, Laurence Fournier Beaudry has teamed up with Guillaume Cizeron… and she’s gonna be representing France from now on One athlete switching countries I can understand, but two? Skating Canada has gone to shit… (even though with Fournier Beaudry I can understand, with all that’s going on with Soerensen)
  22. Will Floyd follows it up with a 45.24 in the SEC Championships final! A lot of our top 400m runners for the men are all in college, very promising signs for our hopes of qualifying a relay for the Olympics.
  23. I watched it live, and yeah he did You can tell my heart wasn’t fully into updating the results
  24. Silver for Eliot Grondin in men’s snowboard cross at the Erzurum WC I’ve had a shitty past few hours to my night (nothing personal related, thankfully), makes me feel a little bit better.
