  1. This 400IM field is a joke (besides MSH…)

  4. Djokovic defeats Nadal 6-2 7-6 (5) at the Six Kings Slam exhibition in Rafa’s likely last ever singles match before he retires. Those last few games were great, shows Rafa’s still got it even at his age. What a rivalry Djokodal has been, one of the best in tennis history (if not the best) no doubt about it
  5. Two big names miss out on the final at the Chur WC, Ryoma Kimata in men’s big air and Anna Gasser in women’s big air
  6. Bronze for Dylan Deschamps at the Chur Big Air WC!
  7. Capogrosso brothers upset Cherif/Ahmed in 3!
  8. Big Air WC Chur, Switzerland Women Gold- Mathilde Gremaud (178.50) Silver- Flora Tababelli (161.00) Bronze- Muriel Mohr (143.75) Mohr and Tabanelli were both medalists at this years YOG. For Mohr, it’s a first career WC podium! A very uncharacteristic 5th for Ledeux Men Gold- Matej Svancer (186.00) Silver- Tormod Frostad (178.00) Bronze- Dylan Deschamps (172.25) Full Results
  9. We were talking about it during the season opening halfpipe WC, I think you missed it Hopefully the crazy maniac (or s) who thought of this idea get put in jail (… just kidding of course), and this nonsense format is only being tried out for this season and won’t return in 2025-26
  10. Long awaited opening win four games in, as we defeat the Panthers 3-2 in OT! What a snipe by Millsy in OT!! Hughes was a fucking monster tonight, Lankinen made some HUGE stops (he’s been good all season long, even preseason, and I feel like has now officially taken the backup position from Silovs) And a bonus, Petey’s starting to look like himself again even though he didn’t record any points
  11. Perilli!!! Wow!!
  12. 34-32 second set between Plavins/Fokerots and Mol/Berntsen, wow
  13. So apparently George/Andre are splitting up after the end of the BPT Finals? Wonder if we’ll be seeing Evandro/Andre for the next quad
  14. April Ross, a legend of this sport with three Olympic medals, has officially announced her retirement after the AVP League season. https://www.instagram.com/p/DBHTOfYSsQj/?igsh=MXU3MmpyeHF2MmhodQ==
  15. Beach volleyball is back, Elite 16 in Joao Pessoa! (Djokovic-Sinner starts in 3 1/2 hours, so won’t be watching too much)
  16. Found streaming for the Six Kings Slam on this YouTube channel, thought I’d share.
  17. Going to share this here, in case some of you haven’t seen the reply on the curling thread, but Bottcher replaced EJ Harden on Team Gushue.
  18. Men’s team defeated Panama 2-1 yesterday!
  19. Erin Brooks qualifies for next year’s CT, she’s still only 17!
  20. And just like that I won’t be rooting for Team Gushue anymore (instead, the other Brad probably)

  22. Never actually noticed how off it seems, I totally agree. From now on I’ll probably change the format to something like this _ Singles Champion- Runner Up- Semifinalists- /
  23. WTA 1000 Wuhan Open | Wuhan, China Women’s Singles 1. (BLR) Aryna Sabalenka 2. Qinwen Zheng 3. Wang Xinyu 3. Coco Gauff Women’s Doubles 1. (RUS) Anna Danilina/Irina Khromacheva 2. 24. (BLR) Sabalenka defeated home crowd favourite (and WTA’s public #1 enemy) Zheng 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 for her 3rd consecutive title in Wuhan. As soon as the match was over there was a song over the loudspeaker that went like “Saba-Saba-Saba-Lenka”, really funny stuff
