Cross-country course preview.

This combination has ABCDEFG elements, at least for the long route. :yikes: Also the horses will be jumping up the water falls, possibly for the first time since 1984 Olympics.

Live scoring is dead again. :FRA Astier Nicolas opened the second day of eventing dressage with 27.2, and he slots into 3rd place individually.

So who are the favourites in the Group F/G qualifier if Australia and New Zealand qualify here? South Africa? China? India? Hong Kong?

What a massive opportunity for those nations (provided that they can reach the minimum scores)

It's quite possible that both get reallocated to the composite teams in such case, especially since an annex was published which stipulates that at least 3 team members have to complete in order to get the quota.

South Africa has two 3* riders at the moment, so they may find the third. India might have a really small chance too. China and Hong Kong shouldn't be able to do anything in this time frame.

Do you think that some extra quotas will be given in case there is need to reallocate to composite teams? Because it looks quite difficult to qualify three riders if you are not part of a team
