Yeah, the website was down yesterday for most of the users because of an issue with the "registrar". We needed to confirm the identity of the owner but the e-mail connected to the account was from the old webmaster and I had to wait they confirmed the new e-mail which took a while. Some connections were working normally, and some are still unable to access now, but in a few hours everything should be fine. Sorry for that, but better now than during the Olympics13 points

According to one of our sports media, the reason for Bosniuk's sudden disappearing from the Olympic ranking is due to a breach of game manipulation. In other other words, match-fixing. "BWF can confirm that Danylo Bosniuk of Ukraine has been provisionally suspended under BWF rules in relation to potential breaches of the Competition Manipulation Prevention Code. As this is an ongoing investigation, it will not be commented on further, the association writes to TV 2 Sport. According to TV 2 Sports' information, it is not directly about match-fixing in the form of betting on own his matches, but that Bosniuk has generally played on badminton matches, which is strictly prohibited". Happy for Yoana, even though she had to go through the final chance tournament. It would have been a complete waste, if she didn't manage to qualify. All and all a good day, after also the rowing quota earlier. We got what was expected today after the disappointments in a number of other sports, most recently shooting..4 points

It appears the seedings will be determined upon an aggregate score of both last season and this "regular" season (so until Singapore). Will it be a random draw ? In this scenario I hope the bracket will be determined thanks to the serpentine method. Current SVNS bracket is determined by your pool, with top seeds taking place in the three pools by order, the other teams being drawn randomly then. I guess they'll use the same system here, which is a bit unfair. At the moment it would mean : 1st pot : 273 273 232 2nd pot : 225 202 200 3rd pot : ( 178) 159 142 ( 137) ( 90) 4th pot : 54 ( 52) 40 18 Not much to play. The only possible pot change is France overtaking Fiji to claim a top seeding. Should Fiji fail to reach the QF (quite likely at the moment), France would only need to win their QF to overtake them. Other possibilities include Canada winning the final OQT, which would upgrade Uruguay to pot 3 (quite paradoxically), or a non-core team winning the OQT, with the same consequence.3 points

19-12 win over Kenya to start off the tournament. Not exactly the best of wins, the Canadians were quite sloppy and well off their best, but props to Kenya for making it a game. Hopefully they can reset and find their form in their matches against Australia and Netherlands tomorrow, that performance won’t cut it against teams of their caliber.3 points -

I'm sorry but this is going out of hand. If you have two athletes as strong as the greeks, is yours federations blame only for not being able to rise a third athlete with a decent level enough to figth for the team quota. Asking for a wildcard is absurd. One is in, the other one is out. They had three years to read the qualification process.3 points
