justony 454 Posted November 11 #1052 Share Posted November 11 Quite amazing, I believe it is first time our song got 3 times 12 points, yet somehow we managed only for 25th place. Anyway, big thank you to all, who gave us points. It is very rare I vote for the actual winner, so congratulations to Czechia. Also it is sad, Ukraine left contest, I liked their song very much, it was in my top 3. konig and Fer GUA

kungshamra71 892 Posted November 11 #1054 Share Posted November 11 Sad to see that my top 3 didn’t win, but at least know that they have a fix place in my Spotify playlist now hehe (Hungary, France and Greece. The Dutch one I hear it every now and then in the radio and at new years anyway) nice contest with some good music, and congrats for all the huge effort from the organiser in making this happen, it really is a fun tradition even if we’re not that many anymore maestro and Bohemia
Popular Post Hipooo 638 Posted November 11 Popular Post #1055 Share Posted November 11 I still can't get over the shock! Many thanks to all the juries who voted for . From the number of points, it looks like you either loved or hated the song. Nothing in between. I was quite curious to see how the scoring for a stereotypical four-chord song would develop. And it looks like the mainstream has won this time. At the same time, I want to congratulate @Belle for a great and exciting battle, and also @Erigert for the first podium! I am already looking forward to seeing you on this ground next year. I must not forget the great organization of @Cinnamon Bun! Great job! I realize that during the organization there were many obstacles that you had to deal with. My admiration for you is even greater. As the winner of the competition, I am happy to take over the hosting from Great Britain (who took over the hosting from us the year before). I will try to create an even more impressive event than when held the competition two years ago. ... However there are still a few things I need to go through before then. 1. There is still a distinct possibility that will have to be withdrawn from the contest. @avlar has still not sent his Jury votes and if he still hasn't done so by end of play Saturday then I will be forced to withdraw from the contest. To prepare for this outcome, I will message all of the jurors who have voted for but haven't named a reserve to replace them with to name one incase this happens. I will also do this to anyone who is placed below in the voting order as will still be included in the draw and the opening ceremony. 2. The time for the closing ceremony is subject to change as it all depends on when the main contest finishes. 3. The festival of music is still open but will close at 8pm GMT tomorrow so if anyone wants to put in a last minute entry you've got till then to do so, remember it's a maximum of 4 countries per juror. 4. I need some volunteers for the draw, so if anyone would like to come forward and help draw it out that would be much appreciated. There will be 2 separate draws, one for the running order and one for the team comp, and the draw will commence in around 15 minutes time. It's time for the closing ceremony everyone. maestro, konig and Fer GUA
