rybak 2,778 Posted February 11, 2022 #492 Share Posted February 11, 2022 For me Wierer's bronze is so far the best medal at these Olympics. Congrats Doro! Ted, maestro, Gianlu33 and 2 others 4

To be honest, they have no other choice than to make Chloe fit for the Relay. Justine is a disaster, just like at the World Championships last year. Slow shooting times, many mistakes and a really weak skiing form. With her, the relay can only backfire. Both Anais and Julia had at least a good race which gives hope, but with Justine they will go home without a medal in the relay. Chloe is at least a solid relay runner and I hope she is running in a good shape so that she can be used in the starting position. But with Justine all hopes would be lost before the start, she just doesn't get it right at big events. The Swedes and Norwegians are probably beatable anyway, but with Justine they would be without a chance even against teams like Russia or Germany. dcro 10,191 Posted February 11, 2022 #498 Share Posted February 11, 2022 It was cute hearing Mike and Scott Dixon doing the commentary together. They had some very similar reactions to clean shootings. Top 10 for Moldova! But actually not their best ever result. Levtchenkova was 8th in Torino. #banbestmen
Monzanator 3,622 Posted February 11, 2022 #499 Share Posted February 11, 2022 In case someone needs an update on pronouncing biathlon names. All non-Slavs should be thankful Stvrtecky's first name isn't Grzegorz or you'd all be screwed twice maestro, stepansevs and rybak 1 1

Still don't understand why biathlon has a medal event that is based on the result of another medal event. Makes zero sense for biathlon to be the only? sport to have this. Why not use the downhill results in alpine skiing as first part of the alpine combined results while we are at it? Team Dressage and Eventing sharing some of the scores might be the closest to it.
