So far the closest i've been was to Vaassen because they have a nice castle there :d

Part of the Epe municipality, it was on the list for potential delegation locations until tonight :d

Between Epe and Vaassen is actually where you'll find a lot of the mentioned burial mounds, I happened to come across them entirely by accident when cycling around there a few years ago.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Delegations in Apeldoorn

:POL Poland

I deny any gossips about me giving bribes to the LOC. But I do agree with those not believing in it being a coincidence. Thank You @heywoodu!!!  ;)

Placing you in the palace was planned from the beginning :d

Not all delegations can have a thought behind where they're being placed, but some do :)

Pancake restaurants exist?? :hearts: Why aren't all countries doing this is beyond me

We have a couple of smaller restaurants here, but they're not only limited to the American version of pancakes, but also a lot of Lithuanian varieties, waffles and all that good shit. Some of them though closed down, because they didn't attract good enough business :(

There's also a cozy French restaurant that specialises in 10 different types of crepes, I imagine you would have something like that in France too.

Mmmh sounds delicious!

Yep we have "crêperies" which serve both sweet and savory crêpes (those ones are called "galettes") :)

Here's an example of what you can get in the local pancake restaurant here :p (yes, I very much like to drown it in syrup, the part that has most of it isn't shown)
