    Viktor Tyumenev, USSR´s Sarajevo 1984 Olympic Champion and 3 times World Champion 1982, 1986 and 1990 in Ice Hockey passed away yesterday at 61. For long years he played in Finland, after returning home he played for Spartak Moscow and the Krylya Sovietov Moscow, he finished his career in the 1997/98 season as a player of CSKA Moscow. RIP

    So it actually means 2 different Shoot-Offs for 3rd to 5th place ? and another one for the last qualifying spot ? Is this really necessary ?

    Wait. what is this ? Did they changed the rules once again or what is going on ? why the 3-5 after the qualification are paired and going to the shoot-off with the three girls tied on 6th place after the qualification Anyone to explain this ?

    How ? This have nothing with the communism at all. Even during the communism Czechoslovakia was always central european country, this is just normal, when you take at least one second look at the maps Claiming Slovakia is in Eastern Europe is the same nonsense as saying Mexico is in North America. this is just unreal, that peoples still do not get it...or it is just a attempt to upset peoples ?

    No semifinals for us I know, just as expected..but, you know, one can still dream.. oh well, we are just too bad in this, even in the continental level. Kudos at least for Richard Nagy 18th in 400FS and Tomáš Klobučník 19th in 100 Breast. too bad he missed the semifinals by 0.06. Also the young Beňo in the same event at least won his heat Our remaining 3 swimmers this morning just very very poor, the girl in 400 IM finishing even almost dead last, beating only one Israeli girl, but well, she is the youngest here, so that´s also an excuse
