    Things are always quite in my house being that we’re mostly Lions fans... That’s true about most pro-sports. We’re an Angels, Lions, Bucks, Trailblazers, Raiders house. Really the only times it’s been loud the last decade has been Athletics meets and Sagan victories...

    I’ve found some to be useful. Lillehammer2016 had an app I used frequently during the games. 2019 Indian Ocean Island Games has a nicely done, really useful app. Overall, I’d say Lausanne2020 has just had poor website and app management.

    Yes, Ajan needs to go before the IWF “new leaf” can be completely believed. I do feel like they’ve worked to improve, but this study is obviously worrying.

    I don’t know. I feel like the IWF has turned a new leaf recently. They’ve been much better about enforcing doping violations, and about advertising clean sport. Most of this data is pre the new era of the IWF.

    Iraq will begin forcing the American military off Iraqi land. They claim that Soleimani was part of a peace process between Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, and the US. Apparently he was carrying a peace proposal when the US bombed him. The Iraqi PM is fed up with Trump’s lies and 180s on policy. We’ve now lost the Iraqis and Kurds. Those were pretty much are only allies not Israel or Saudi Arabia in the region. Great going USA ?

    These are very worrying tweets. This shows a clear picture of mental instability. This would be a escalation we could not come back from. Also, hitting cultural and civilian targets is a big no, and quite honestly a war crime in my book. Should this happen (I’m positive it won’t, but you can never be sure with Trump) it would be grounds for a third article of impeachment, and tread us dangerously towards war with Iran, and chaos on the home front.

    Probably not what the IOC wanted to hear. I’d be surprised to see zero protests in the Tokyo this year. Protesting in Japan is dangerous though. Japan’s not a free as people think it is.

    All Americans have been advised to leave Iraq immediately. War with Iran in Iraq is very much a possibility at this point (though I very, very small think)
