  1. Ah yes, the way towards peace...
  2. Fair, but what’s done is done.
  3. Just found this gem thanks to “The Two Popes”. What a beautiful song, and I like this version where it’s been mixed with “Walls”, the main score from “The Two Popes”:
  4. As bad as losing those jobs was, it was for the benefit of her constituents. Amazon treats its workers like shit, like Chinese sweatshop bad. That’s why I never request two day shipping, I try to ease the burden placed on those workers.
  5. And of course you will come up with continuous attacks against them, that’s how politics works. To be fair, it’s not really all that hard to criticize/attack Israel or the US... Regarding the AOC quote...It’s a typical thing. Redistricting happens after every census. Gerrymandering has been a problem for decades because of weak federal rules, and zero constitutional laws against it. So her district probably won’t “disappear”, the demographics or area of it will change inevitably.
  6. I’m assuming you didn’t play live? I wouldn’t mind counting up non-live scores at the end of games, but it’s fun for those of us involved to keep track of our own leaderboard. You could still create an account and play live by the way. Only like 100 people even played today, so there’s actually a good chance you could still win by the end of the games (that goes for anyone interested by the way).
  7. Sanders went independent (before running for the Democratic ticket in 2020), and he did rather well. I really don’t see AOC losing because conservative hatred has made her so popular amongst liberals, progressives, and democratic socialists.
  8. For your Omar claim about ISIS: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/ilhan-omar-isis/ For your Omar claim about 9/11: https://apnews.com/afs:Content:7354840002. So one of those was proven false, and the other pertains to one specific case where a factually dubious/partisan Twitter account spread a mostly false rumor. Following the above pattern; about your claim about Tlaib: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/rashida-tlaib-holocaust-warm-feeling/. Obviously the quote was taken out of context because of the way spoke. She clearly meant that she felt a calming feeling about her people losing their ancestral lands to create a safe haven for the European Jewish population. When I searched “Will AOC lose her district”, every source but one on the first page of the google search was from a well-known far-right publication. It was actually insane to see blogs show up instead of actual news websites. The only good source on the page addressed how she could be beat in 2020, and even then no mention of the district being lost. Ever heard of a term called “fake news”?
  9. You realize AOC could just run in, and win, in a different district right?
  10. Remind me again when Omar and Tlaib supported ISIS, 9/11, or the Holocaust? Omar’s family came to the US fleeing Al Shabab and government violence in Somalia.
  11. I didn’t realize how popular Uno is, but many YOG athletes have it listed as their favorite game
  12. True, but the ARD team has evidence, and they turned it over to the IOC, IWF, and WADA. I mean people are eventually find/see those documents. The IWF’s reliance upon HUNADO is also odd. I don’t know if that type of relationship with an IF is normal, but it’s definitely strange even without having personally seen the evidence. Ajan is just trying to cover his ass at this point. Here’s what I want to see, if any of this can be proven: IWF suspended like AIBA HUNADO suspended like RUSADA Ajan kicked out of the IWF
  13. One day conservatives in this country will be a respectful people again. Today, is not that day I’m afraid. Tomorrow won’t be it either.
  14. Totallympics Live Trivia Ranking After Game 1 1. @Olympian1010 7/10 2. @Wumo 6/10 3. @Griff88 2/10 Note: If I missed anyone let me know Seems like it’s a duel between myself and @Wumo, may the smartest Totallympian win Next game: Jan. 8 at 9:00 PCT (check the website to be sure you enter at the correct time though)
  15. Also, not that entries are available (even if not official entries), it’s a good reminder about the prediction contest myself, @Vojthas, @Wumo worked to make available to everyone. We’d love to see more participating even if it doesn’t count towards the official standings.
  16. Also, noticed that has (predictably) declined to participate in the games.
  17. According to BBC, Archery is also on the table: https://www.bbc.com/sport/commonwealth-games/51013587
  18. I think there’s an option to turn off auto-refresh, but I could be wrong.
  19. So do you like it, or not? In my opinion, this is the best system for information. I’d say I’d prefer Atos for looks and design though.
  20. @Ustatsch What is “Grundkenntnusse Englisch”? From what I can price together, it’s British English?
  21. I love how all the European athletes claim to speak English, and then continuously make grammar and vocabulary errors in the biographies. However, this makes them more relatable, so my above post still stands.
  22. I wish more countries will force/ask their athletes to fill out their biographies on the timing system. Personally, I find easier to cheer for athletes I can connect to, and I enjoy reading the biographies to see what kids are into these days. Professionally, it allows journalists (like myself) to write more creative and funny stories about the athlete. In my opinion it’s a win/win. It takes 5-10 minutes, the athletes gain fans, the NOCs then have athletes that people like, and journalists can write fun stories.
  23. Taynara Da Silva will race both Biathlon and Cross Country @heywoodu. Maybe @brunamoura can give me a good scouting report about her and some of the other “exotic” biathletes?
  24. I see they’re using @heywoodu favorite system
  25. Came across a little something... https://www.lausanne2020.sport/results/nh
