There's a two hours gap between them, seems manageable
Easier as the relay is in first.

So Jamanka with the 2nd best start time, only 0.05 shy of Meyers-Taylor Are we witnessing the Burghardt Effect ?

Not taking the quotas into account for the distances that will be skated tonight, we have a total of 25 countries already secured of at least one quota:
In 2018, 29 different countries competed. Differences so far:
- No participation in 2018, but quota secured for 2022:
- Participated in 2018, no quota secured for 2022 (yet):
will send its first ever skater to the Olympics (women's 500m) and no skater from had qualified since 1992 and now they qualified both a male and female speed skater.
Marten Liiv will almost certainly qualify tonight for both men's 500 and 1.000m, so Estonia will be the 26th country added to the list.
Loubineaud is now 2nd reserve on the men's 5.000m, 3rd on the men's 10.000m and 4th on the men's mass start.
No reasonable hope for any of the other countries to qualify. I'm most disappointed by . They also don't have any talents coming up in the junior circuit.
Oh what a surprise See you in 4 years (no).

Macron is a hypocritical idiot.
If Truml is re-elected in 2024 he will threaten at least once to ban certain countries from the 2028 games as part of some argument or war.
Funny to hear you talk about hypocrisy dude Go make you stupid useless boycott and stop asking everyone else to follow ...

Don't forget Nelin and Ponsiluoma

Road to 0
We were always on the edge but that would really hurt right now ... just at the time when we had the phantasmagoric amount of 2 skaters in the WC, 2 in the Junior WC, a record 6 registered in Inzell earlier this winter ...

As for the women it's too early to tell but China seems to be able to catch up and get 4 places.

By my calculations : (x2) will qualify

First race as a brakeman for Alexandra Burghardt, the commentators seemed a bit clueless about her "Not a shot putter, not a javelin thrower, definitely a sprinter", no shit, she's a 11.01 100m runner and was semi-finalists at the Olympics just 4 months ago

Correct me if I'm wrong please. The IBSF Ranking List takes into account the best results recorded by the athletes in the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons, with a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 16 (8 + 8 WC in this period) races per athlete ?

First tournaments in Dubai with no New Zealand, Samoa, China. 12 teams in the men's competition, 10 in the women's.

I really don't get the principle of having two "leagues" in the World Cup. At least not in Olympic season ... Like, how were the divisions decided for the first WC of the year ?

The first run looks like a mistake happened. She was third in the second run.
In any case hoping for a Brazil top 8 in Beijing
Yep, early mistake looking at the splits.
Maybe this race is the most realistic then ? https://www.ibsf.org/en/component/events/event/502061

Spain - France, M Field Hockey 2020 qualifier : 6-5
Latvia - France, M Ice Hockey 2022 OQT : 2-1
Sweden - France, F Ice Hockey 2022 OQT : 3-2
That's not OK at all

I hope she breaks that record, although I highly doubt it's at all realistic
We'll see when the main season gets underway though, it would be truly insane (and awesome!!) progress if she gets close to top-10 results
The result of the Olympic test is quite positive though, even if it's early season. I mean the whole circuit was there and probably in good form since they had to discover the track and practice it in competition conditions.

Yeah, someone said that to get onto Norwegian TV you need a Norwegian mobile number. So not really easy.
Will be aired live on https://live.lequipe.fr/lachainelequipe/
You need to log in (basic informations) and a VPN. All live except the men's sprint.

French sprinters still doing great. Hopefully they can keep it that way until Beijing.
