  1. Melissa Peperkamp was the only female snowboarder with a sort of decent first run?
  2. Generally athletes who are out cold don't (obviously consciously) move their hands to try and cover their faces while still falling, and don't move their body in a clearly conscious way even a little. Anyway, not being knocked out doesn't make the fall much better, I mostly hope her back turns out to be ok.
  3. Definitely not knock-out, nasty fall indeed though (the one of 10 minutes ago).
  4. I'm still watching yesterday's alpine skiing and since I noticed watching one thing instead of two makes the one thing I'm watching much more fun, I just use my laptop (I watch on my desktop) for things like forums and live timing I'll watch the luge WC later
  5. Something's pretty wrong here, I don't think Yeh had a runtime of 52.1 seconds in run two... For comparison, that is almost two seconds faster than the winner of run one I do wonder how a mistake like that happens, it's not like one can cut a corner without crashing out of the track in some insane way (which would most probably have led to cancellation of the competition). And in the last intermediate, everything still looked normal
  6. It'd be too much to have another pair of same-name/no-family athletes after Andi and Max Langenhan
  7. Berzins with some destruction at the bottom
  8. I wonder if Kristers Aparjods is the first 2016 Youth Olympian to be mentioned as someone's hero in 2020 https://www.lausanne2020.sport/results/nh/en/Participant/ParticipantInfo/7361a9bc-0c90-4e45-b1a1-9c46fc6ddbe4
  9. Every four years, luckily. I hope they won't increase that to every two years..
  10. Ugh, why does it feel so predictable to have something like this in Minsk of all places? Maybe because the rest of Europe isn't interested Great by the way, now places with an excellent layout for a great road race but without a nearby track or mountainbike course or BMX track can't have the champs anymore. This sounds almost as stupid as the ISU's combined speed skating world championships..
  11. That depends. Does my lead increase of decrease because of this?
  12. Right, let's just go ahead and say 'ok'. Too bad weather in Asia is too warm as well and so these had to be cancelled/moved, although I doubt Nur-Sultan would have drawn the big crowds we know from Crashed Ice.
  13. [hide] #56 Will more than two nations get a medal in both Cross-Country Skiing Cross and Nordic Combined Individual events? [No] #57 Will Asia get more than half of medals at short track 1000m? [Yes] #58 How many nations get at least one medal in Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard on Day 9? (step - 1) [5] #59 How many athletes from the Americas will win on the first day of Curling Mixed NOC Doubles? (step - 1) [3] #60 Which nation wins Luge women's Doubles silver? [Russia] [/hide]
  14. Don't know what the Almaty and Nur-Sultan events have to do with above average temperatures in Europe, but alright
  15. One of the best ever venues for speed skating at a multi-sports event and there's no video footage...that's unreal
  16. Everyone gets capital letters in the graphics except for this guy, that's just annoying
  17. Oh they won't even qualify? In that case: gold in every discipline in which they qualify
  18. I think it'll be closer to 12 gold medals
  19. The Brits presented their new Olympic-year track bike. So, you know. RIP everyone else.
  20. I'll get back to you in a few minutes, I'm gonna try and find the differences other than the placement of the logo
