  2. No matter how many athletes are in, two runs is definitely the only fair way to go. And if you're so desperate not to have two runs all the time, like FIS seems to be, do the exact opposite of what they've got now: one run in the first round and then switch to two runs.
  3. I guess the Dutch commentator was wrong when saying they had 'luck of the draw' (athletes on the blue course)
  4. I have no idea, but let's go with A because that seems to have the biggest chance of making sure at least everyone's favourite gets point(s).
  5. And there it is after four days of PDC Q-School, the first woman ever with a PDC ProTour Card and it's the one that's been most expected in the past several years now: Lisa Ashton. Let's see how it'll go
  6. This PGS in Sestrieres was ridiculous How come the highest-ranked athletes aren't allowed to choose the course? Or are they and was every single one of them so dumb they picked the obviously slower red course?
  7. Yes, for a World Cup or an exhibition race. In an Olympic event, everyone should have the same chances from the start on, no handicaps or bonus times or whatever.
  8. I hate reasons like "It's too much to be fun" or "it's overkill" or something, because ugh, just don't participate in those you don't like. Reasons like the one you mention however, where it's about it just being too much work for the organizers, are totally different and of course perfectly valid and understandable
  9. Yes, that's my advantage. One official half marathon more than you So I now know really not to start too fast and when you think "Oh this is going well", you're starting too fast
  10. 7th place, I told you not to give up on Kasai!! http://medias2.fis-ski.com/pdf/2020/JP/3246/2020JP3246RL.pdf
  11. All of them This sounds like one of the best contest months ever Especially the speed skating, the one time the sport could have a contest.
  12. I feel like I'm slightly ahead of you in terms of distance, but you are definitely ahead in terms of pace. This is gonna be interesting
  13. That's more than we see of the Olympic final if there's no Dutch team involved They prefer talking about sports for hours on Olympic days instead of showing live sports, it's truly amazing how the main Dutch broadcaster always manages to fuck it up.
  14. Only if the Dutch team plays (in a 'major' championships...and preferably on a weekend...and if there's not much else to show, like was all the case today ).
  15. Awesome, I see you're on schedule for the half? I was going for 9k in 54 minutes last Wednesday (increasing my 6:00/km endurance with 1km per week, then I'll end up with exactly the half marathon total on 4 April), but managed to push out 10km in a bit over 59 minutes Next Wednesday the challenge is 11k in 1:06, let's see.
  16. Dutch commentator: "And in the quarter finals they'll play against Slovakia and that's just going to be really easy, because Slovakia plays no role on the European level." Jinx jinx jinx @hckosice Congratulations!

  18. Never in my life expected to say this, but Gorbachev is in the ski cross final
