  1. Well. That athletes could be left out this late isn't really news. I'm personally gonna wait and see if they will prove some good reason for the action before thinking that it's some kind of conspiracy.
  2. I agree. I do at least feel pretty sure that I won't watch matches that Sweden aren't in.
  3. Sounds like Sweden won't use their quota in the men's figure skating.
  4. Denmark has always had some pretty high demands to qualify. I don't quite know what they were in alpine skiing, but I know that in cross-country you needed to go below 100 FIS-points twice in a World Cup or World Champs to get the spot.
  5. Interesting news for Denmark that Canada won't use all their quotas. The question is whether our NOC is interested in a reallocated quota.
  6. Finally a podium finish. Maybe Calle will actually be able to fight for a medal? He looked strong yesterday as well until his fall.
  7. Nah, stumbled upon the video earlier today
  8. A lot better than last year in my opinion
  9. Looking forward to seeing the performance on youtube
  10. He is being interviewed by Olympic Channel right now. Apparently he did it!
  11. A good free skate by Majorov, but sadly I don't think it's enough to get selected
  12. I must admit that the latest analysis of the situation in the IHF that I've read was from the beginning of 2015. It may have changed since then, but he still has good support outside Europe and America. At least I feel pretty sure that Al-Shaabi still has his back. But remember that the main critics after the named match, Christer Ahl, was thrown out of the IHF shortly after. The problem is that it's pretty easy to "buy" votes by promising countries that barely have any players that they will get more money. But nowadays that apparently isn't enough for him which the case with the Pan-American federation shows.
  13. Just watched her run. Not a bad outfit She will surely be missed
  14. While 3 continental championships are going on, it seems like the great leader of handball, the dear dr. Hassan Mousafa, is moving the sport slightly more in his own favour. Apparently messing with the number of votes at the IHF congress and apparent exclusion from a meeting in the IHF counsil are his latest ideas, which seem to lead to the Pan-american federation being broken into 2 federations (against their will). Sadly there aren't much chance of getting him out of office as he pretty much controls the African federation and his lovely allies, the presidents of the Asian federation control those votes.
  15. And we have a spot in the free skate! Sadly it's due to a disappointing skate by Algotsson
