Not really. African Games are basically irrelevant, and it was always Egyptian team's strategy to send reserve horses to Nations Cup (and spare the best for Rabat).

Egypt is a HUGE favorite given their current rider and horse power.

Our NOC announced that 5 of our lifters were caught doped in the last African Games without naming them but rumors says that Sara Samir is included in this list so it's officially over for our weightlifting the sport could even die here in Egypt,  Mohamed Ehab announced his retirement unless he can participate under Olympic flag or something which isn't available ofc this's what we got from conflicts in our federation I seriously started to hate Egyptian sport with this bunch of losers governing our federations

Olympic qualification. I updated the standings in my previous post. Egypt has a very good chance of qualifying.

They said Halasz achieved that result in R1 and he would have approached the rest of the competition differently had he known it was a failure. Polish team agreed that awarding two bronze medals was the best solution and IAAF concurred.

Thanks our team here consists of some players that played world U23 championship in Egypt 2 years ago plus some experienced players But still young like Mohamed Adel in middle blocking and Ahmed Shafik in position 4 and 2 old and much experienced players and still the most important ones in the team Ahmed Salah abdelhay and Abdallah Bekhit the setter 

Wow, congrats , about time we had a strong team from Africa appear on the world stageI'm not sure what squad they use here, but I was really pleased with the way their youth teams performed at the Junior competitions, I think they have the potential of becoming a very solid team.

The sportsmanship and comradery in men's pole vault is something I like time and time again, one of my favourite aspects of athletics.

Wouldn't mind seeing Hemida again in the final

Italy is here with almost B team. Only their setter and libero are the starters.
 
Some other teams are also here with weakened squads: Russia, Canada, Argentina. Poland will play the first few matches with substitutes as well before the starters arrive from France.
 
I think only Brazil, Iran and USA are here with almost best team. They are missing only one starter player each.
