  1. That is true, other examples would be Schippers going from 11.03 to 10.81 in 2015 or Hassan going from 4:03.73 to 3:57.00 in 2014.
  2. Most swedish women are beautiful, so its not surprising that they have a lot of direct contact with other people and are more likely to get ill. No risk for Semenya, Wambui, Schippers, Reese or Niyonsaba.
  3. Is there a morning session tomorrow? If yes, then this will be the first session i can watch this week.
  4. Yeah ... but at olympics you have many different sports at the same time, so you cant compare it. You should look at the number of posts in 2015, but even that doesnt mean much, you need to look at the number of registered/active users.
  5. At first i was really positive about this competition, but now i am extremely disappointed, horrible competition. 2019 wont be much better, hopefully Berlin will do a better job next year. 1) Rain, rain, rain ... 2) Doped athletes 3) Bought athletes 4) Tons of ill athletes 5) Makwaala not allowed to compete 6) Horrible level in many events 7) No morning session on most days 8) Strange progression by many athletes like Nasser or the american guy in discus throw.
  6. Really hard to understand why Germany got so few votes, despite having won 34 medals in olympic events at the latest world championships, including 18 of them in gold, despite ... a) Lisa Zimmermann not able to compete b) Felix Loch missing out on a medal c) No medal in men's ski jumping team Naturally the number of golds will go down, but its hard to see Germany ending up with less than 12 golds (3-4 x luge, 2 x bob, 1 x skeleton, 2-3 x nordic combined, 2-3 x biathlon) which will be very hard to match for any other nation except the US.
  7. Strange how Simpson always ends up with a medal, beating much stronger runners like Hassan or Muir.
  8. Does anyone know whether Eid Naser still trains with the bulgarian coach that also coaches Femi Ogunode? It's sad to see how her appearance changed, 2 or 3 years ago she looked completely different. I guess nowadays all sprinters have to have a tattoo.
  9. Macluffi wont compete? Very sad, he would have won gold. The guy in decathlon always improves very much at big competitions, so he is one of the favorites. I think the best nation without african athletes is New Zealand, ahead of Lithuania, all nations ahead of them have african athletes.
  10. What about mens 1500 m and mens decathlon?
  11. France and Russia are even shittier than Germany (although i didnt know that Russia was even allowed to compete). Africa is clearly the best. Kenya, Ethiopia, South Africa are top 6 + most american, british and jamaican athletes are also from Africa, so Africa is top 6. Netherlands is the best non-african nation.
  12. Glad that i cant watch any more session until Saturday morning, the doping problems in athletics are almost as big as in swimming. I am just glad that there are still events where Germany can win medals just with superior training methods. Shot put, hammer throw, discus throw and all track events are pure doping events.
  13. If you go back far enough in time, then you could call everyone african, so basically Africa always wins. Of course the medal table would be pretty useless if only one nation would compete.
  14. And the US wins again, this sport got what it deserves, you have to pray for Russia coming back strong to end this farce.
  15. Wouldnt want to meet Thompson, Ahye or Schippers in the dark, really dangerous looking fellows.
  16. Didnt see any of them, cant have been that bad. You are exaggerating clearly.
  17. By her looks, she will rather eat them. I think Thompson or Ta Lou would fit twice in her.
  18. I know, was just asking why you cheered for Africa at that moment, because nothing really happened right around that time.
  19. Storl, Ryzih and Lückenkemper just horrible, no words for their performances. Never been that easy to win a medal, german athletes very shitty overall, a bunch of chokers.
  20. Did they win anything? Korir was horrible in mens 800 m to be honest.
  21. Womens pole vault clearly the worst competition ever. Stefanidi ahead of the weird american woman and Silva with her horrible new hair. Look-wise even "womens" 800 m is more attractive.
  22. Hopefully some clean athletes will win medals tomorrow, but seems rather unlikely. In mens shot put its almost impossible, hopefully Storl will take revenge for Harting.
  23. I thought that swimming worlds were a new low, with even more doping than Tour de France about a decade ago, but seeing the athletics world championships i might have to correct myself. It will be very hard for clean german athletes to win medals. The less medals you win as a big nation, the more civilized and advanced you are, great nations arent desperate enough to dope up their athletes just to show off.
