  1. Unrest in Zimbabwe... some sources are already talking about a coup against Mugabe. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-zimbabwe-politics-broadcaster/soldiers-take-over-zimbabwe-state-broadcaster-zbc-staff-idUSKBN1DE36B?il=0 http://www.thezimbabwemail.com/zimbabwe/mugabes-house-zbc-reportedly-sealed-off-army/
  2. Seems like US soccer federation already "took" your idea http://www.espnfc.us/united-states/story/3269935/us-soccer-exploring-pre-world-cup-matches-with-netherlands-italy
  3. Or probably he started with those countries with only one jury... still some time to go until Saturday.
  4. Regarding weightlifting, it seems IWF decided to scrap team classification, opting for individual qualification. For each weight category there will be 14 lifters, with a maximum of one per NOC Full article
  5. Well @rybak and @konig, it's probably because you're on the later part of the voting order; so don't worry @amen09 is going to send it on time.
  6. I agree with Sweden odds, but nothing is written until the draw. Probably this time it's going to be a little more interesting.
  7. They don't need sixteen better teams... just two teams that finish atop them in GS and they're out.
  8. and qualify to World Championships Sadly, Mexico reacted late, so its mainly their fault they will miss the competition
  9. Last two tickets to Worlds are at stake today... Puerto Rico has won their first two games against Mexico and Guatemala in straight sets... they will play hosts Cuba, who won won against Guatemala in three sets, but yesterday they equally lose to Mexico, who's still alive and with good prospects to advance, as long as they don't concede too many points or worse, a set, to Guatemala.
  10. Thanks everyone for their time. It was fun as always
  11. @Werloc you're voting first... Unless a penguin attack happens
  12. Our next hosts will (likely) have the last vote
  13. I heard there's already some controversy over Spain's shirt, as it designs resembles the flag of the II Spanish Republic
  14. I stayed mostly in Vienna, because I was participating in a moot arbitration competition. It's a nice city, but not a must. Madrid was very interesting and it has some nice museums, if that's among your or your girlfriend's interest. I also went to Florence, which again, if you're into renaissance art and architecture, then you have to visit. Finally, Venice has its charm and it's a city you can see in a couple of days.
  15. @konig I'm not European, and it has been some time since I "crossed the pond". I agree with Agger about Prague and Budapest; they're beautiful cities at affordable prices. Also, in my opinion, Rome and Paris are must see cities(even if you don't go this time around) they are a little crowded, but plenty of things to see and do.
  16. Votes send... now waiting until the contest day.
  17. Already picked my number 1... but the other 14 (including 3 reserves) are hard to place. Tomorrow I'll send the votes.
