  1. Lee What dominance!! Really puts him into the medal conversation for Paris, and even gold.
  2. One of my favourite doubles players
  3. Katie Vincent is probably a lock for the Olympic team. Probably will come down to either Jensen or MacKenzie for the second spot. @intoronto is there any chance we can send 3 athletes, considering the events that we’ve qualified in?
  4. v. for the women’s 76kg quota @Benolympique
  5. Morais with an excellent 14-4 win over Hristova. v. for the women’s 68kg quota
  6. v. for the women’s 62kg quota
  7. In women’s 57kg, v. for the quota.
  8. v. for the women’s 53kg quota Was rooting for Prevolaraki but
  9. China and Spain. In 4th was a second Canadian pairing, Sophia Jensen/Lilley Osende. Wish we could send more than one boat to the Olympics
  10. For the quota in women’s 50kg, it’ll be v.
  11. Stadnik keeps her hopes alive for an Olympic ticket after winning one of the bronze medals in women’s 50kg.
  12. Now it’s time to root for Valiev in his semifinal
  13. Katie Vincent/Sloan MacKenzie win silver in women’s C2-500m at the Szeged Canoe Sprint World Cup!
  14. Canada start off the Men’s Hockey World Championships with a 4-2 win over Great Britain. Didn’t watch the match or anything, but I was expecting a whole lot more.
  15. Jerome Blake (men’s 100m) and Brendon Rodney (men’s 200m) will be competing at the Jamaica Athletics Invitational today. The incompetent organizers of the event didn’t release the entry lists until today, which is why I didn’t share this news sooner.
  16. Yeah we’re screwed.
  17. Charles Paquet with a career best 5th place finish at the World Triathlon Championships Series Yokohama!
  18. Now just to be clear I’m not making excuses, the Oilers were the better team for the majority of the game (2nd period as the exception), and they deserved the win but when you see a no call on a play like this you gotta question the refs.
  19. Just want to say that this is one of the worst reffed games I’ve ever seen, for both sides. Fuck Sutherland.
  20. Bouchard knots in the OT winner at 14:22, as the Oilers defeat the Canucks 4-3 For the Canucks, I’m particularly mad at two players today. Cole, who gave up yet another goal to an opposing team in the playoffs, his 4th so far and Hronek, who created a lot of turnovers which led to extended shifts. 1-1 series between the Canucks and the Oilers.
  21. 3-3 after 3 periods, and we’re going to overtime!
  22. ZADOROVVVVVVV!! What a goal, from a seemingly impossible angle Canucks lead the Oilers 3-2 with 1:43 left in the 2nd period.
  23. Ekholm just 23 seconds later scores to tie it up at 2-2…
  24. Boeser scores on yet another 4-4, 19:07 into the 2nd period!! Canucks now up 2-1 over the Oilers.
