  1. Mondo going for 6.25m!!
  2. Commentators are saying that only Samsa won bronze
  3. Joint bronze for Zernikel and Samsa in men’s pole vault
  4. 37.82 for in the men’s 4x100m relay
  5. Karalis with a new PB of 5.87m!! @Makedonas @maestro @Ted
  6. Ingebrigtsen!! Completes the men’s 1500m/5000m double, with gold in the 1500m!
  7. Random fun fact about me, that I thought I’d share after watching the women’s long jump final, as it brought back some memories Back in grade 7 (so 12 years old), I did long jump, and I wasn’t half bad at it! At our school athletics “championships” (not sure what to call it) day, I won my grade title with a best mark of 2.51m! (keep in mind my age…)
  8. Iapichino moves into the silver medal position with 6.94m.
  9. Solid 7.04m for Mihambo.
  10. Might happen. Edit: Never mind
  11. 1 over 7.20m, a further 2 over 6.90m, and a further 4 over 6.80m in the women’s long jump final. What a competition.
  12. Now you know how us Canadians feel all of the time
  13. 88.65m for Vadlejch in the final round!! NEW EUROPEAN CHAMPION!!
  14. MEDAL FOR GAJANOVA!!! @hckošice
  15. Mihambo!!! 7.22m!!
  16. That can’t be right… can it? Personally, I wouldn’t write off Van Rouwendaal’s chances of winning gold.
  17. YESSSS!! Vadlejch 84.66m!
  18. 6.82m opener for Iapichino in the women’s long jump final
  19. Christou won bronze in the men’s 100m backstroke in Doha sure, but it wasn’t particularly the strongest field. Also, he was about half a second slower than the silver medalist. Stefanidi winning a medal would be shocking IMO. She’s not producing the same marks as she was a couple of years ago. With Kennedy, Moon, and Caudery likely to push the 4.90m barrier, it’ll be next to impossible. Even if a minor medal is 4.85m, don’t see it happening. Otherwise I agree with you
  20. Duda/AP are in horrific form (by their standards) right now, I can’t see them winning gold. Barbora/Carol are much more likely.
  21. I’d say you probably know best But I’m curious to what events. Tentoglou in men’s long jump, men’s waterpolo team, women’s waterpolo team, few medal contenders in shooting, Ntouskos in men’s single sculls, few medal contenders in tennis, Petrounias in men’s rings, Kurugliev in men’s 86kg are all medal chances
  22. 18-20. 5 golds. We arguably have a much stronger team than we did in Tokyo (despite -80 or so athletes) but my bet is that the majority of our medal hopes will flop, despite having a ton of chances. (… No I don’t actual think this will be realistic, but better to have low expectations than high expectations)
  23. Not sure, but hopefully Mondo with 6.06m in 2022.
  24. Short onto something good in the men’s 800m freestyle…
