Over performing in the sense that she shouldnt have won gold here, but i want to try to be fair: Schwanitz and Storl only have themselves to blame, both underperformed, the polish athletes just were better prepared, although Haratyk also wasnt at his best. I still am sad that Bukowecki won a medal, i dont consider any of his performances to be legal. Congrats to Guba, she showed massive mental strength today. It just would be nice if polish athletes would leave some gold medals for Germany, its getting frustrating to see german athletes (Schwanitz, Ringer, Harting) fail miserably.
Guba is at the peak of her performances right now and she will probably only get better. Schwanitz was nowhere near her best but that's not our problem. German athletics generally is on the way down but I have no idea why that happens.

Two african runners stealing a medal from Reh, among them someone who never should have been allowed to compete here, absolutely disgusting, swedish federation once again absolutely disgusting after how they handled the Aregawi case a couple of years ago.
Always sad to see fat "athletes" winning medals, i hoped that Stahl wouldnt win a medal here.
Also another polish athlete with a not surprising over performing ...
Nightmare for Germany once again.
Guba over performing? You think Polish shot putters aren't allowed to post scores over 19m?

Poland steals one from Germany on German soil
-
Guba 19,33
-
Kardasz another PB with 18,48. Probably the happiest 4th place finish at these champs
-
It's really unfair for the Dutch girl having to compete against a Kenyan

I have absolutely no idea why I should or should not cheer for her.
People will say Poland imports athletes too

Stahl 68,23 and leading...

And Salpeter's switch to Israel is even more 'natural' than Shegumo's switch to Poland. I really don't see the problem with Salpeter, it's the exact opposite of Can.
Don't forget about Sofia Ennaoui. You probably won't cheer for her either?

Kardasz PB 18,38

Well yeah that's all fun, but I mean, were you like "oh my god African silver at Europeans!11" as well?
Shegumo was a mascot in the Polish team. Besides we supposedly don't like immigrants

Which mess exactly? Nykyforov being ahead of Heinzle because his 2nd best attempt is better than Heinze's?
Smaljaj should have been out after three jumps?

I'm curious what you said when Yared Shegumo won European silver in the 2014 marathon
Nothing, that was a major shock for everyone. The guy had a three year break in competing when he worked in the UK

What on earth is a Skagerakk and how can I eat it?
Half of the Europe doesn't know what a Skagerakk is

Daniel Stahl with 2 fouls very close of elimination
They measured his 2nd throw at 67,02 and then changed their mind?

So we have a Kenyan from Israel leading a Kenyan from Turkey and an Eritrean from Sweden in the 10k?

Doing nothing for 6 years and then coming back like that is even more suspicious. A guy finishing 4th at U23 level just to win a medal at senior level one year later is fishy as well, personally i would never trust any athletes from Belarus.
I'm well aware Western Europe has zero trust in Eastern European performances. Everything east of Oder is suspicious by default

There's an outside chance Paulina Guba beats the oldest Polish NR in track & field tonight
-
PB for Sabat but the French girl really helped her with the tempo run!
-
That was slow. Cichocka probably won't make it.

What disaster for Vallortigara
That's called pressure, right? Some athletes perform better as underdogs.

K. Borlee and dos Santos in as FL.

Yousif is out. False hope for ES team.

Ribbentrop-Molotov pact took care of all the responsibility. Besides, Stalin would have started WWII himself ca. 1941-42 to take revenge for the 1920 failure anyway.
