Second foul for Mayer...
-
Huh? 11 women reached the big Q so it will be 12 as usual
-
She looked to be suffering from a cramp tbh. I believe she wasn't DSQ.
-
Yatsevich out.

Are there any detailed live scores available? The EC official site sucks.

I see BBC maintains the anti-Russian bias. Shmeleva wins her third gold at these champs and BBC doesn't even mention it in one sentence!

I didnt pick him for any medal, but i am surprised to hear this, dont see him beating Jakob or Filip, maybe Henrik, but in the 800 he would have had a better chance for a medal imo, probably polish federation wanted a medal contender in 800 m and 1500 m.
Federation has nothing to say about that and Kszczot gets more attention here anyway. Our top athletes can set their own terms and there was no way they could force Lewandowski to focus on the 800m if he didn't want to. His main weakness was always the lack of a good finishing sprint and nobody wins global medals jogging at 1:49 pace in the 800 anymore.

Well, that's wonderful news, because I picked him for bronze
I hope the three Ingebrigtsens will have my revenge for me in 1500m
In the 800m?
I picked him for silver (as unnamed "any other athlete") in the 1500m
Lewandowski's last major event where he focused on 800m was Rio Games, he's a 1500m guy since then.
-
I always wonder who follows Water Polo? I can only second guess Croatia, Italy and maybe Hungary are good at it? I haven't watched like 5 mins of that sport in my entire life
-
Btw, if anyone picked M.Lewandowski for a medal in the 800m then it's DOA since he will run 1500m instead
-
Stuy injured... ouch...
-
And the CYP girl gets DQ in the 100m... so much for the consistency...

Martin Gillingham used to commentate on all 400H races...

Dai Greene needs to frickin' retire. He's a complete goner.

Which all has exactly 0 effect on cheering for Chase Elliott or not
Yes indeed, all the cheering comes from his father's legacy! NASCAR will ride this kid as the new poster boy for the next couple of decades

Because cheering for or hating a team instead of a driver is lame.
Hendrick still had Jeff Gordon who was probably the most popular driver once Bill Elliott retired. It didn't help Johnson basically denied Gordon a couple of extra championships (2007 is what especially comes to my mind).

Chase Elliott just got his first career NASCAR Cup Series win
That only took him 99 tries, including eight second place finishes and eight third place finishes!
Plus, he's the son of legendary and insanely popular Bill Elliott, Awesome Bill from Dawsonville, and whenever Bill won (44 times), the sirens in the town of Dawsonville would go up and make noise....waiting for reports of that happening right now
Truex run out of fuel three corners from home and Elliott nearly choked it on the last lap himself. Funny how everyone supports him when Hendrick was the evil empire with all the Johnson titles

3-0....
Oh, wait... it's four...

Well in that case we won the Snooker World Cup 3 times in a row and also the Golf World Cup twice. A1GP World Cup of Motorsport too (I guess it's a team sport since there was a background team and not just the driver involved
).
But you get the idea, first final in a major / Olympic team sport
Golf & snooker is an individual sport

Hmm... so just how BAD is Romania at the moment? Did everyone just leave the country or what?
-
Has Ireland ever won a World Championship in a team sport? And I don't mean Gaelic football
