Yeah, it's a great idea if you want a total collapse of the heatly system.

Which is why we’re not going to do that, but shutting down countries for weeks on weeks will do worse to most economic and health systems.

On a Dutch forum there's been a little meme going around these days about Milan actually, with people saying stuff like "But in Milan everything is perfectly normal, children are playing on the streets and life is happy" since one person - who claimed he had a friend living there - said there was nothing going on there :p

well, if you were here last Saturday night, that would be your impression, too...

the usual nightlife places and streets were filled like always...

and shops and similar are full of people getting the shelves empty...you only have to lose some time because the access is limited in oprder to ensure the "safe distance" between those who are inside...

at least here in the southwest part of the city...

in some parts of the Lombardy Region we're already down to the socalled "triage", with first aid doctors having to choose who's going to be placed in the hospital and who's not going even to get any attention...

not a good situation at all...

And that would be even 100 times worse if we're now going to say "forget it, let's let it run it's course".

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

All Italy is red zone, people can go out only for work, for heatly reason or for emergency

And apparently they locked down Totallympics too for a minute :redcard:
