This might be an anticlimactic ending for you, but it sure isn't for the home crowd!    Hungary takes the final 12 points of the day, and jumps up to the 6th position on the table.    Ireland officially wins the silver for the first time ever!    Great Britain ends their drought and wins their first TISC medal since Open 2018.    Finland is in the Top 5 for the first time ever!   And of course we shouldn't forget about that...  SPAIN WON THE CONTEST!   The voting is over but there's still one more event left: the Closing Ceremony!   It will start in 30 minutes at 22:30 CEST.

Man, I feel really bad for Mexico. I was pulling for them. It would have been the first Top 10 in many editions.

 

Plus it is the song which grew on me the most after the voting deadline...

As I said during the first session, I came to this edition without any expectations. The most popular songs in Spain right now are not very interesting and I wanted to show something different of the Spanish culture. After searching for a while, I decided to go with a folk song in Galician, one of our three official regional languages (Galego, Català and Euskera/Basque) that was very close to represent us in Eurovision this year. To be honest I did not think this kind of music would be that appealing, but I am very happy with the result.

I can't forget to congratulate both  @Cinnamon Bun@Quasit and  @OlympicIRL for their medals. I have no idea how Tanxugueiras have finished above Ed Sheeran, but I guess that's the magic of this contest.

 

And with this victory my next goal will be getting some points from  and .  After 6 editions these are the only 2 countries that I have never managed to receive a single point from (excluding Norway and those who only participated once) .

Pecs Scholars win the team bronze for the ages.

 

Literally would not happen without the Indonesian sudden gold. They would placed 9th without it and failed to make it to the bronze medal contest.
