  4. Petrucio Ferreira wins the men's 100m T47 with a time of 10.34 Just a few weeks ago, the winning time for the men's 100m at the Pan American Games was 10.30 (different weather conditions, of course).
  5. Surprising since is the current Paralympics silver medalist. Blame it on IBSA for reducing team quotas from 10 to 8 to allow for more categories in Judo.
  6. It wouldn't be a multi-sport game if there wasn't a marriage proposal
  7. Wheelchair Rugby medal winners USA gets the Paralympic quota. Canada, Brazil and Colombia will have another chance at the 2024 Qualification Tournament (Canada is the favourite). Nice to see Brazil winning its first ever Parapan American Games medal after losing many times to Colombia.
  8. Winter Paralympians and world medalists in cross-country skiing, Aline Rocha and Cristian Ribera are now Parapan American Games medalists Despite winning multiple medals in Track, Brazil has no tradition in wheelchair events, so good move bringing them to the Games.
  9. Para Archery quotas Men's W1: Men's Compound: Men's Recurve: Women's W1: Women's Compound: Women's Recurve:
  10. When you break a WR but don't win a medal... Elizabeth Rodrigues set a new WR of 17.80m in the women's Discus Throw F53, but as the event had only two competitors, no medals were awarded.
  11. Shooting Para Sport quotas P1: P2: R3: R4:
  12. Only and were set to compete, so it was cancelled.
  13. Table Tennis Oceanian Championships quotas Men's Class 3: Men's Class 4: Men's Class 5: Men's Class 7: Men's Class 8: Men's Class 9: Women's Class 4: Women's Class 10: 6: 1: 1:

  15. has some outside chances, but I wouldn't bet in any of them (maybe D'Almeida). In Tokyo we won an unexpected medal in Tennis for the first time, so maybe we'll add another sport to the list in Paris. Archery (men's individual, Marcus D'Almeida) Canoe Slalom (women's C1, Ana Sátila) Rhythmic Gymnastics (group all-around) Table Tennis (men's singles, Hugo Calderano) Triathlon (men's individual, Miguel Hidalgo)
  16. Goalball Asian/Pacific Championships quotas Men's: Women's:
  17. If wins the African qualifier, then they will get that quota and the World Cup spot goes to .
  18. A podium sweep for in the first medal event of the Games.
  19. Competition has started with Table Tennis.
  20. Despite ignoring the Pan American Games (mostly because it was too expensive), SporTV will broadcast the Parapan in Brazil.
  21. Yes, but most likely will go to one of the NPCs that are already qualified ( ). If one of them is the champion, then the quota will be reallocated for the 5th place at the IBSA World Games ().
  22. The "highest ranked three (3) athletes" rule applies only for the nations that already qualified an athlete. For example, if qualification ended today, and would get a second quota via ranking in women's trampoline, and in men's. The other places would go to NOCs that have not qualified an gymnast yet. Also, in the end I think both the host and the Oceania spot will be unused as they should qualify via ranking.
  23. That's why I said that it won't be that easy for Camilla to get a second quota for since and are in very good position for a second quota...
