  1. Believe or not every candidate on the stage thinks racism is still a huge problem in America.
  2. Castro goes hard after Biden in the healthcare debate. Biden has been killing Bernie on facts checks, but Castro nails Biden with one. Castro really hammers Biden. It is not a good look for either Biden or Castro. Castro tells Biden that he is killing Obama’s legacy and the crowd goes wild. Debate briefly descends into chaos. Yang gets everyone to clan with a slightly racist joke.
  3. Healthcare debate Warren making a very big mistake in the healthcare debate, but then she makes a comeback with a great joke. She still won’t reveal her plans though, that’s a turn off for me. Biden seeming to win moderates as expected. Bernie getting big cheers when talking about socialized healthcare. Biden tells Bernie that “This Is America” when Bernie begins talking about how much better Canada’s healthcare is than ours. People seem to like that, but Canada’s is better. Kloubachar trying to compete with Biden for the centerists. She might have the strongest performance in the first quarter. Buttigeig proposing that we slowly move towards Medicare For All. Harris only wants to talk about Trump. That’s not going to work forever. She mentions McCain beating Trumps attempt to get rid of ACA. First time McCain has ever gotten a cheer at the Democratic debate. Obama has never received more credit for the things he did in his life
  4. Biden complaining that nationalized healthcare is impossible . How about we stop paying to defend the EU. We spend 55% of our national budget on defense, how about we spend 30-25%.
  5. Biden already started by blowing Obama tonight . We get it, Obama liked you.
  6. Yang is giving a way money to families. He just promised to randomly select American families in need and send them his campaign money. Every other candidate laughed, but Yang got just 3 million googles, and more than a million people to visit his website.
  7. I had class during the first hour of the debate . I guess I’ll just have to read the transcripts and summaries, or hope ABC puts it on YouTube.
  8. There should only be 4 in 3x3, at least as far as I know.
  9. Well I can’t eat peas, so I guess I’ll be banned from
  10. I hate how these federations make you think every event ever is a qualification event
  11. I quiet like it actually. I don’t this qualifies as cultural appropriation because the Japanese have different design kimonos everywhere.
  12. Oh that’s not rain but chocolate juice. I’m not exactly unfamiliar and everything
  13. It will be interesting to see who earns the direct quotas. We’ve sent all our best 12-15 year olds
  14. You sir banned from the topic . I eat olives on the daily. One of my favorite things to snack on is a green olive with a little of tomato and some basil stuffed inside.
  15. You do know I ski right? I’m not exactly unfamiliar with the difference between snow and hail. We get hail here all the time.
  16. Like snow, hail can accumulate in big quantities too. In fact it often can some out of nowhere. That’s why I’m certain this is hail. Starting randomly and hard, and the size of the ice pellets is too big the be snow. Hail can be just as fun though.
  17. Hail, not snow. Snow wouldn’t be that solid.
  18. I told you, the 2016 election polarized the country. The GOP turned into a super nationalist and ultra conservative organization. The DNC turned towards the radical left (socialism, democratic socialism, green, labor). Those left in the middle are in limbo, and mostly prepared to let the country tear itself a part while doing absolutely nothing. The last time the US was this polarized was the Vietnam/Civil Rights Era. We saw radical changes then, so 2020 could be the start of some insane changes, or cooler heads prevail and we become more unified again.
  19. An economist who’s main campaign promise is universal income (every citizen gets $1000 month). He’s also become the youthful trendy candidate, and some what of a weird pop culture icon. I believe that Conservatives are trying to get him elected to make it easier for Trump. The Russians could be doing stuff behind the scenes too.
  20. Tomorrow, or actually today now (as it is 00:12), we will have the third democratic debate. There will only be one night of ten candidates. Each candidate will have 1 minute and 15 seconds to respond to a question, and 45 seconds to rebuttal another candidates answer. Currently Biden is still polling highest. Sanders is close behind. Warren is sitting comfortably in third, with Harris and Buttigieg coming in 4 and 5 respectively. Yang and Booker are the best of the rest. Also, polling (though we’ll never fully trust it again) has shown that Biden, Sanders, and Yang beat Trump head to head. Warren goes 50/50 with him. Harris currently loses 46/49. I’m not expecting much from the debate, but I’m hoping to be surprised. I just really want anyone but Biden.
  21. I quite liked that fern flag though. I my favorite entry was the dude who just replaced the red stars for a picture of a dick or a dildo or something. That actually made the first round I believe.
  22. I know I should really stop quoting old posts, but for reason “(our local idiot)” made me laugh out loud. I think it’s funny that we all have an idiot now. I’ve Trump. France still has Le Pen looking good for the next election. Germany’s got their Not-Nazis (but definitely Nazis) wining more and more elections. Indonesia’s got that religious freak. Brazil saw us elect Trump, and said hold me beer (and then elected someone who might actually be worse than Trump). The Philippines has their manic as a president. The man leading in the Tunisian elections is running from prison. GBR has Boris Johnson because everyone wasn’t laughing at them hard enough after Brexit. I believe Wilders is still active in the Netherlands. Norway’s got some crazies in the government. Finland’s got some weirdos too. Fist fights are continually breaking out in the Nigerian Parliament. What a world we live in currently. I really hope this 2020-2022 election cycle goes much better for liberals, and/or moderates. Plus, we’ve got Proxy Wars spring up all over the place now. Korea v. Japan, India v. Pakistan, Syria v. Kurdistan, Colombia’s back at civil war, The Irish question is back, etc. It all started with Brexit and Trump, and then shits just been hitting the fan since.
