    European Street Championships in Russia in October will count for Olympic qualification. It will be the 1st event of the 2nd Olympic qualifying season. World Skate sent out a press release stating so today.

    The 2019 African Cup take place this weekend with record participation . Men’s Teams: Women’s Teams: The Tournaments will be played using “urban” rules format; 3x3+goaltenders and 2 (15 min) halves. I’ll post any TV information I get.

    Same, I generally go with “Entry List” because it’s formatted nicer and generally is a little bit shorter

    This is what I do with them too. It makes them much more readable and the information is much easier to find. Plus, Wikipedia doesn’t always have complete results for all the games. Currently I’m working on the 2009 and 2013 World Games.

    That is definitely not one of the perks of the US not being a homogeneous society. We generally have good/decent levels, or at least “true” US athletes in every Olympic and World Games sport.

    No medal is awarded for group C I believe. At least that’s how it was when I worked the Championships. I worked a group C session where the only fans were from . They were a fun group to chat too, very nice (I believe they were cheering on their son). It was a room of a 1,000-1,500 seats and it was just them. I guarded the VIP section (where one judge came to sit) with my life

    New York is looking to become the second state after California to allow college athletes to make money off their merchandise, likeness, and images.

    I want to see a road race stage done as an elimination stage. Race 200km and eliminate the last rider to cross at each km. Or I just want an insanely long stage, like 300km followed by a 50km time trial the next day, and then a 25km Mountain stage the next day, and then a good ole’ sprint stage to finish it off.
