  1. I’m not explaining the reasoning for the 4th time. Look back a few pages and you can find an explanation. I’m not trying to be rude, just trying not to repeat the same information over and over again.
  2. Worth mentioning that their are a few cheese haters on the forum. Cheese, Olives, Bread = My Heaven
  3. Maybe, foreign currency can be a fickle thing. Plus, it’s just more useful to have ¥
  4. Half of all skateboarders are younger than . In fairness, my age is changing soon...
  5. ...And has selected a 10 year old for Skateboard . I can tell this competition is being taken semi-seriously becuase the athletes are generally ancient by skateboarding standards (20-24 years old), but they’re are still a few Sky Brown’s hanging around. https://results.awbgqatar.com/#/awbg2019/athletes/SKB/BEACHGAMES-00008949
  6. 1 Week To Go! ...And the results system is already published I don’t know much about the Bornan system because they are a relatively new system. However this system is the same as the one used at the African Beach Games (which was pretty usable). Their systems also seem to be hardy, but can be a bit slow. 7. Asking the Dutch to wear orange in public is like asking Brazilians to attend a free football draw
  8. Yep I’ve been saving up the big dollars for Tokyo. The $ to ¥ conversion won’t be in my favor tough
  9. women’s powerlifter
  10. Part of the new rules that were approved at the least general assembly
  11. Oddly enough my old primary school pastor had a real Olympic torch. He was a torchbearer in 2002 . You can find a bunch of different pins on eBay by the way. I don’t have much personally, but that will change after Tokyo.
  12. There’s an autograph thread, but I don’t know about a collecting thread. I’d suggest you make one if your interested in that sort of thing.
  13. Israel Cycling Academy will replace Katusha-Alpecin as a World Tour team next year.
  14. Well Salt Lake is applying for 2030 so... Fun Fact: LA would have realistically hosted both the 1932 Summer and Winter Olympics if the mountains around a 20 minute drive from my house had enough snow that year. We actually had the largest ski jumping hill back then. That mountain range has had very good winters as of late. It would be fun to see LA host the Winter Olympics. We have the money, and most of the venues.
  15. They great thing about Minecraft being the most popular and most played game in history is that there are a lot of downloadable or out-of-games resources. I have one that plans out a circle block by block should I need a circle. Personally, I like square venues in my Olympic Parks because they’re easier to plan out. Obviously winters sports are rather easier. Stadiums needed for Speed Skating, Figure/Short Track, and ceremonies. I’m thin the “new” Park will also have an innovative indoor ice climbing wall.
  16. So, I’m currently building a winter Olympic Park in Minecraft. I’m trying to figure the best way to do a a recreation this winter. I have two ideas. Use people, or use in game cpu. Would anyone be interested in playing along, or should I give up on that already and go to option?
  17. Not exactly a shinning advertisement for games
  18. and 6 teams of 6, but I do believe we are up to 37 now.
  19. Salt Lake is the odds on favorite.
  20. The artist who selflessly donates their own pictograms to Wikipedia for use and allows others to use them as well really deserves some praise. The dude has made pictograms for over 200 sports. I choose some of more and unusual ones to show below. A few them are also just ones I really like.
  21. Very interesting, every single Olympic insider thought it was a done deal for . I wonder what NOC is whispering in Bach’s ear
  22. And now Trump has invited the Chinese to investigate the Bidens . Damn, I’m starting to think I should investigate the Bidens too
  23. One of the my favorite political cartoons.
