@intoronto I would guess ISSF is asking for Mixed Team Skeet, which would probably just be rubber-stamped by the IOC. @Griff88 Seems as if you’ve underestimated the BWF here. I think Basketball could just simply be asking for an increase in teams in the 3x3 tournament. However, @intoronto could be right about the dunk contest/shoot-out. All-in-all, our guesses from the last few pages seem pretty much spot-on at moment. Only thing that surprised me was the ICF asking for extreme canoe slalom, but I really should have seen that coming in retrospect.

Yes, I had a few questions where I could really use a “neutral” option too. Some of the questions were also worded tricky. Those are probably my two biggest critiques of their system.

They just need to combined the two ideas. The European Games should be the European Championships for all sports involved. If they need to take place in the Winter Olympic year to make that happen, then that’s the compromise that needs to be made. Of course, this puts them in direct competition with the second largest multi-sports games in the world, the Asian Games.

We’re not calling for that. We want to attempt to prevent crime, instead of merely suppressing it with police force. We want to take away money from our insanely large and wasteful police budgets, and hire more social workers, mental health specialists, more teachers, and invest more in disadvantaged communities. It’s honestly not our fault that many police have decided to turn their back on Americans. They really enjoyed harassing and endangering minorities and communities for decades, and now they are faced the reality that we won’t stand for that any longer. I think if we make a combination of swift short-term changes, and well planned long term changes, we could create a better system of policing and criminal justice in this country. Of course that’s asking way too much of Americans, so there is the possibility that shit hits the fan somewhere down the line for a number of reasons.

So then the Faroe Islands count because they have an NOC. The reason I gave those five eligibility options is because territory with reasonable independence/autonomy would have one of those five.

Faroe Islands are a country, Macao is not (well at least by most definitions). We do definitely need to draw the line somewhere though. Maybe any territory with a recognized NOC, NPC, NUSF, CGA, or regional reputation at a continental multi sports games is eligible?

ooh, 2022 Euro Champs might not be dead just yet. These a four big pickups ups for the event. Canoe Sprint and Table Tennis have been keys sports to the European Games, so this could be a big loss for the EOC. Of course, sports can probably feature at both events.

The entire police force of Atlanta is refusing to work as well. This is a huge issue. Buffalo PD did the same thing after those two officers were charged with assault for pushing a 75 year old peaceful protestors to the ground This is why the argument that “all cops are bad” can be made. They care more about loyalty to their “brothers”, than about loyalty to the people they’re supposed to be serving. They are all willing to protect bad cops because the police unions tell them too. They have continued to shoot unarmed civilians (though not in the case of the Atlanta officer), even after years of protest. They have continued to harass communities simply because they have the power to, and they have have downright refused any attempts at reform. This is why we must defund all police departments.

Man, if the movie is as good as this trailer, we’re in for a real treat! This movie is following in the same veins as Get Out, Midsommar, and Us from what I understand. So it’s a horror/thriller with dark political undertones essentially.

Studies like this don’t rank perception. I’m sure they’re awful, the majority of IFs are, but they might not rank terribly low in “governance.”
