  1. Didn't she failed a doping test last week or something?
  2. I think order of go does matter. Judging tends to get softer as the competition goes on, it's the natural bias.
  3. You don't even have to open threads anymore?
  4. Makes so much sense to decide 9/12 qualifiers 3 years before...

  7. 300 hours worth of days sounds way cooler. Kida, you know.
  8. One thing people probably didn't know is that Niki Lauda flew Elisabeth Max-Theuerer's horse to Moscow by himself in 1980, when Austrian federation called for a boycott and refused to support Max-Theurer's trip. So yeah, he was a pretty cool guy.
  9. Brief overview of the Compiegne stage... It was a rare away from home victory for Great Britain, although not surprisingly. They did have the strongest team on paper. Sweden finished 2nd, while placed 3rd with rather an interesting team... As things stand, France can hardly be considered to be a frontrunner for a team place for Tokyo. Hell, they barely finished ahead of Switzerland at their home event, which is rather unbelieveable given the current state of Swiss dressage... If France had a bad weekend, then Belgium had an absolute disaster,,. They sent more or less their strongest team, and yet they were way, way behind everyone.. While Simon Missiaen got some unbelieveably low scores, probably the lowest point of Belgian week came earlier today when Isabel Cool retired her mount Aranco V, due to an apparent injury... All results from Compiegne can be found here.
  10. Are people really complaining about a common spring shower these days?
  11. vd Poel is already gassed.
  12. Apparently Ivan Tsikhan was one of the torch runners.
  13. Second and final day of competition at Compiegne NC is about to start.
  14. That show went of rails by season 7. Somehow I watched all of it though.
  15. Fight! Fight! Fight!
  16. You mean jock?
  17. When I do play something it's usually CS:GO. Although I've been doing it less and less in recent times.
  18. Yay, Venezuela will have a yachter because Brazil took one of the places at the European championships.
  19. It will count for both Group C and Overall rankings. However, Group C nations will have more potential points on the table, since this event technically counts as "Group C Championships". Individual Group C winner can get as many points as European champion later this year, so yeah, it's a big deal.
  20. Detailed entries are out. Belarus Aliaksandr Faminou (Martinie) Hanna Nemtsava (Gambrinus) Raman Varanko (Dervish) Alexander Zelenko (Verdikt) Czech Republic Miloslav Prihoda Jr. (Ferreolus Lat) Poland (4 riders will be selected) Jan Kaminski (Jard) Mateusz Kiempa (Grand Supreme) Mariusz Kleniuk (Winona) Joanna Pawlak (Fantastic Frieda) Pawel Spisak (Banderas) Pawel Warszawski (Aristo A-Z or Filer) Russia Aleksandr Markov (Kurfurstin) Andrey Mitin (Gurza) Evgenia Vysotskaya (Eclair d'Amour) Belarusians have a reputation for being rather fancy movers in dressage. They could even lead this thing after the opening phase, but really this quota is Poland's to lose. Markov is not bad, but Russia can't do anything with only three team members. Unfortunately for them, Belarusians also have a reputation for being snails across the country. Czech Republic only has an individual, but it can be significant. Baborowko qualifer will be a chance for getting a huge amount of ranking points. Don't you just love the names of Belarusian horses? Dervish, Verdikt. Gambrinus.
  21. Another Efrurt case getting public tomorrow? Just kidding... Or am I?
  22. heywoodu always likes Switzerland.
  23. So I just heard the Sammarinese song, and apart from the leading vocals, the song is absolutely perfect.
  24. Come on, are Dutch really the favorites? (proud to say that I haven't heard any song so far, just surprised it's Dutch )
