I think order of go does matter. Judging tends to get softer as the competition goes on, it's the natural bias.

Brief overview of the Compiegne stage... It was a rare away from home victory for Great Britain, although not surprisingly. They did have the strongest team on paper. Hell, they barely finished ahead of Switzerland at their home event, which is rather unbelieveable given the current state of Swiss dressage... If France had a bad weekend, then Belgium had an absolute disaster,,. They sent more or less their strongest team, and yet they were way, way behind everyone.. While Simon Missiaen got some unbelieveably low scores, probably the lowest point of Belgian week came earlier today when Isabel Cool retired her mount Aranco V, due to an apparent injury...
