  1. No, South Korea is only consistently competing in dressage for some reason. India could be Thailand's biggest victim, though. I guess we will have to wait and see about Thailand. This is an incredible opportunity for them, so I wouldn't be surprised if they started investing more. Maybe their previous Olympians from 2004 and 2012 will make a comeback (similar thing happened with Japanese dressage in 2016, when a whole lot of semi-retired athletes came back following the surprising qualification). But in any case, Thailand will be working on a very short time frame.
  2. China qualified too. Final results 129.3 135.4 175.3 2051.5
  3. Six rails down for Samran. Thailand is qualified, but I doubt any of their combinations from here can reach minimum requirements (except maybe Chavatanont & Bolleybawn Prince, if they don't find 4* dressage too hard).
  4. Those who fly high, fall deep is a well known phrase.
  5. Final results. Team eventing Poland 115.8 Belarus 1175.7 Russia 2065.1 Individual eventing Pawel Spisak (Banderas) - 26.8 (26.8+0.0+0.0) Michael Jung (fischerChipmunk FRH) - 33.2 (26.8+6.4+0.0) Jan Kaminski (Jard) - 39.4 (32.6+2.4+4.4) That's right, Spisak defeated Jung. Poland filled top 4 individual places, so nobody else will be getting significant individual points. Tough luck for Prihoda Jr., who could have won 98 points had he finished 4th... His 5th place will only get him 3 points...
  6. Spisak and Poland win. It will be the first Polish eventing team since 2004. Banderas is really becoming a complete horse. Show jumping used to be his weakness - not anymore.
  7. It's here. https://zawodykonne.com/zawody/tarantevents/tour/630/8200?type=lista
  8. ISSF live stream qualify is going downhill with every new stage.
  9. Aaand cross-country live stream is gone. Not surprisingly, they attempted to cover 100+ horses cross-country with 3 cameras.
  10. In actual fact they were withdrawn before the inspection, but getting axed sounded way more intriguing.
  11. Two Hong Kong horses got axed at the inspection, so yeah, this is over.
  12. MTB commentator getting his seconds and hundreths of seconds mixed up. "She was faster by... 2 hundreths?!"
  13. Didn't Bruna almost become a mountain biker herself?
  14. No, it's the biathletes that are using/leasing Nove Mesto's MTB area.
  15. Poland passed the 2nd inspection with flying colors.
  16. If you won't to be on top ,do you need to do What people don't see! Yes, exactly.
  17. Ireland has received an invitation to compete at this year's Aachen Nations cup... In dressage. That's sort of like having an Ethiopian 100m runner invited for Diamond League. By that I don't mean an undeserved invitation, but rather Ethiopia suddenly having a sprinter.
  18. Standings after cross-country... 111.8 1153.7 2061.1
  19. Standings after show jumping... 84.0 87.4 92.7 94.4 96.1 97.7 103.6 105.9 129.9
  20. Yes, it REALLY is possible. Three nations from Group C can qualify in dressage. Russia will qualify a team for sure. Ukraine will get an individual almost certainly. And that leaves everyone else fighting for the third spot... Until now it looked like Belarus and Poland will be the favorites for the last ticket, but Bugan's 69% from today puts him right on-par with them. Keep in mind that this was Bugan's debut performance of 2019. It's common to see the scores improving with every new show during early season.
  21. @hckosice What a result for Michael Bugan. Slovakia could be getting a WC podium tomorrow if he can repeat this. Additionally, he will get 203 Olympic qualifying points for today's performance.
  22. Oh no, Kleniuk retired. Poland can't afford to have a problem anymore.
