  3. Senior Men's and Woman's Super Sprint today. On the Women's side, there are 46 starters for 30 spots in the finals. Both Fialkova sisters are starting, Bendika, and Davidova should be the favorites. On the Men's side, there are 56 starters for 30 spots in the finals. Most of those scheduled to race are not major names.
  4. Junior Women's Super Sprint Finals: Junior Men's Super Sprint Finals: The Czech Republic had a great first day. Three medals our of six. Latvia with a medal as well. The RBU with two.
  5. The startlist for todays "Biathlon Contest" a mass start, plus shooting competition in Bessans, France is an interesting mix of biathletes. Considering that the World Champs start on the same day, there are some very well known biathletes in France, and not at the World Champs. The top French are not there, but Jakov Fak and Klemen Bauer are. In fact 7 Slovenians, a few Croatians and a few Italians join 7 French on the Senior Men side. The big guns will participate in the shooting competition for both the men and women. The top French women and men, as well as 6 Norwegians such as the likes of Eckhoff, Roeisland, and Landmark Tandrevold. On the mens side, the top French are there as well.
  6. I am interested to see who will actually be there. I think that for the French, the Martin Fourcade Festival is more important, at least that is the sense I get. The Czech's will be there. But I do not remember even pre-COVID if the US has really ever attended. EDIT - It Looks like Tara Geraghty Moats will be there.
  7. Great question. I just imagine the two Oeberg's and Samuelsson plus Ponsiluoma. That is a great mixed relay team when things are clicking.
  8. And the results from the Swedish Rollerski nationals short individual: Stina had issues: And for the men:
  9. Weisbaden Qualification races Youngster Team Challenge The men's and women's have not posted.
  10. City-Biathlon Weisbaden is today. It will be livestreamed on Youtube. I just hope they do not shoot the fountain.
  11. So much excel talent around here. My simpleton skills simply do not match up. Thanks for the work.
  12. I saw that and was surprised. I do not know if she has turned her back on ski jumping/nordic combined but her shooting was not great. I envision her as an IBU Cup biathlete at best. She also had a 2 min penalty in the Mass Start that would have had her finish in 8th. Joanne Reid did not participate so I would envision that she would have defeated her as well. Paul Schommer's win was his biathlon win of his career. Good for him,
  13. US Biathlon Rollersk Nationals Mass Start Men - Paul Schommer with his first National Championship! Women - Clair Egan with another win.
  14. US Summer Rollerski National Championships were this past weekend in Jerico, VT. Saturday - Sprint Men Sprint - Women

Women's Super Sprint results here. Junior Women's Super Sprint result here. Also the Martin Fourcade Festival has announced the last two male athletes. It will be Jakov Fak and Matvey Eliseev.
  16. Women's Elite and Men's Elite results are here - Norway men's sat out the men's race. Good mix of biathletes were there with France, Latvia Italy and Switzerland as well. Look down a the bottom of the article for the results.
  17. Startlists for the Lysebotn Hill climb tomorrow. Women Elite Men Elite - Andorra sighting!
  18. Emilien Jacquelin is out of the Blink Festival due to fall in a bicycle ride in Norway. He will not be able to train for a few weeks. The image below is from his Facebook page.
  19. 24/25 July Victorian Biathlon Championships were cancelled due to COVID shutdowns in Australia. There has been some local rollerski races in the US so far this summer. The US Summer Championships are next weekend, they look like they will happen.
