    Super excited for Beserga. Slettlemark did not start. Too bad, that was the last solid chance for Greenland to get a medal. Her brother will start 1:42 back in the pursuit. It would take something really special for that to happen. So my guess of Greenland will not happen.

    Congrats to todays winners: Youth Women Sprint: Repinc - Zingerle - Grotian - 6 shot clean, with all 60 who qualified for the Pursuit within in 3:16 of each other. For the Youth Men Sprint: Irodov - Piller Cottrer - Gunka - Only three shot clean. With 2:57 between the 1st and 60th. The US managed to get all 4 in the Pursuit. That was a surprise to me. Campbell Wright missed 5 targets and still came in 29th, 1:54 behind.

    Interesting race - Bened with the only 20 for 20. Only 4 who missed more than 10 shots. This could be many reasons, wind for example, when comparing to yesterday. But I think more of it is that these are more experienced biathletes, than the younger ones.

    Baserga from Switzerland missed the podium with 2 misses, but ended up in 4th, 1:51 behind. Slettemark missed what is considered her best chance at a medal as she also missed 2 shots and finished in 8th place 2:11 behind. Three of the US team missed 7, 7, and 8. One hit 19 but was 5:22 behind.

    Looks like Irodov for the gold. Geny of for the Silver, and Kienesberger with the bronze. No one shot clear. Vasililev of Bulgaria missed 10 and only finished 7 min behind. Quite quick as well. 22 missed 10 or more shots. US slightly better - 7,10,8,9 misses.

    He now has 7 misses, but is only 2 min behind. He is flying on the skis today.

    Does anyone know why Norway was not in the Individual? Aasne Skrede is one that should do well on the women's side of things. Are they absent for the entire championship due to the nations ban on hosting winter sports events? Or was it a decision to ski the Individual?

    Yep, as I said, mine were only guesses. Without the four IBU Junior/Youth races cancelled, it is hard to really make an accurate prediction. Even if I was an expert, which I am not, biathlon is so unpredictable. Which is one of the reasons I assume that we all enjoy it so much.

    Gold for Richard of , Silver to Repnic and Bronze to Kapustova of . Kapustova was the only one to shoot clean. It was not a good shooting day for the US. The four went 9,9,9 ,10. But they skied pretty fast. Of the top 6 finishers, all were in the top 15 starters.

    31 nations for the Youth Women Individual 35 nations for the Youth Men's Individual - including 2 from Georgia.

    I think that from the US, I would love 2 top 10s. I agree that any top 20 would be good. I think the relay's, top 8? No idea this year. A few US biathletes did compete in IBU Cup events. But who knows. I think Greenland will get another medal! I also think that 10 total teams will get medals.

    Here is the team packet from the upcoming World Junior/Youth World Championship. Looks like a limited stream for this event. It looks like the Individual will not be streamed. Possible Sprint, Pursuit and Relay's.

    All which transitions into good TV. So those here might not like them, but they are very popular to the more causual fan.
