  10. Anyone know if the races in Sjusjoen or Idre will be streamed this weekend?
  11. Here is the women's one: With a season like last year, Eckhoff can raise to 2nd on this list. Wierer is the only other active biathlete on this list.
  12. I saw this today and thought it would be an interesting discussion point. Any chance that Tarjei Boe moves past Dratchev? Does Johannes Tinges Boe pass Martin Fourcade in wins? I do not think that he will compete long enough to pass him in anything other than wins. Any idea who else would be near these numbers? One other thing, with an additional week on the schedule, there is at least 3 more victories/podiums now.

  18. "Maxime Germaine of Anchorage and Helen Wilson of Eagle River are back on the U.S. Biathlon development team, along with first-time selection Maja Lapkass of Anchorage. Germaine, 19, boasts a bronze medal from the 2019 World Junior Championships, a tremendous achievement for an American — his medal was the first in four years for the United States at the prestigious international event. Wilson, 19, is a member of the UAA cross-country ski team. She was the top American in the 12.5-kilometer individual race at the IBU World Junior/Youth Championships last February in Austria, placing 38th in the junior women’s race. She missed one out of 20 targets in that race. Lapkass, 18, also compete in Austria and was the top American finisher in the youth women’s sprint race (51st) and pursuit (45th). All three biathletes are members of the Anchorage Biathlon Club." Source

  21. US Schutzenski took place yesterday and concludes today at Soldier Hollow. This is being used for WC and IBU Cup qualifying. No real surprises in the women's races. Top 4 are the same as last season and Geraighty-Moats making progress. Some surprises here Max Durtschi in 2nd. Leif Nordgren and Jake Brown not really doing well yesterday. Jake Brown missed all 5 shots in the stand.
