  1. Looking at the start lists, the men's 800m freestyle list is absolutely insane. Heats 3 and 4 alone could be a finals lineup. A lot of big names are going to miss out
  2. Auboeck beats Matsumoto in a swimoff for the final spot in the men's 200m free final

  4. Both Masse and Wilm advance to the finals! Medals will be tough to get though
  5. Hunter Armstrong is the luckiest guy on the planet. Qualifies to the semis in 16th, qualifies to the finals in 8th Looks like it'll be a showdown between Ceccon, Xu and Murphy
  6. Slower final than I expected tbh but happy with the silver for Maggie!
  7. China continues their great start to the championships!
  8. Decent prelims session on day 2. Both Masse and Wilm easily qualified for the semis. Masse in particular looked the best she has all season so that's a good sign. I believe Angus and Finlin also had PB's in their events even though they didn't qualify for the next stage. Was hoping for Acevedo to sneak into the 100 back semis but he was well off his trials time.

  10. Wow, Ceccon and Armstrong barely make it to the semis
  11. Just got to say that it was really nice seeing so much participation in this thread yesterday after what felt like a dead 2022 World Championships thread. Looking forward to the 2nd day of competition

  14. Believe it or not, she was the fastest Canadian this year before these championships when she recorded a 54.39 at an event in January I think
  15. I will say that the one good thing to come from the 400 free is that this is the first rough swim for Summer. The adversity had to come at some point. Better to happen now than at the Olympics. Hopefully, it doesn't affect her too much and she can have a great rest of the championships.
  16. Well MacNeil advanced and looked great overall. Then it went downhill after that
  17. King Kyle does it again! 4th gold of the day for Australia
