  1. It's pretty tough to find the perfect way to do it. Because a country's quotas can change a lot. The quota system for the worlds are after all pretty much the same as for the Olympics, meaning that unless you have a constantly (very) strong team, your number of participants will change a lot. You could potentially have 3 skaters going through to the free skate and still only get one spot for the next worlds (or the Olympics)
  2. It looks photoshopped... Found this picture, which is exactly the same: I'm guessing that one's the original one
  3. What a start to the season for the Danish women. Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig also won the GC in Setmana Ciclista Valenciana! Finally Danish female cycling is showing something again and that the Worlds wasn't just a coincidence!
  4. Vote D66 (they're our sister party, and we've spent quite a lot of time with their youth party, Jonge Democraten, in the past)
  5. Just read about the accusations against Tusk about the plane crash in 2010. Wow!
  6. SV? Do you mean SF (Socialistic Peoples party)? If so, I doubt they will be back in government soon. Their time in government was tough with them not really getting what they wanted and their members weren't too happy about most of the compromises. Though they have a slightly stronger leader than back then, I don't think they'll want to be in government in the nearest future. Edit: Or do you mean RV?
  7. I've just reached a personal milestone, as I saturday was selected as a candidate for the social liberal party to the municipal council in Aarhus (2nd largest city in Denmark). Hope that doesn't make the people hating politicians hate me
  8. Wouldn't personally talk about great songs, but that's all a matter of taste. There are only a few songs that would disappoint me as a winner (Benjamin Ingrosso, Lisa Ajax and FO&O), I could even live with Ace Wilder winning, (and I really couldn't stand busy doing nothing and Don't worry) but meanwhile there aren't any songs that makes me think wow. Jon and Aninia are great, but I just feel that the song is lacking something, but it is my personal favourite.
  9. Really? That's category 3 hurricane winds!
  10. A highly interesting Paris-Nice so far with winds giving problems for most riders.
  11. Nah. My favourite is Stefan Holm... Sorry, Robbie Grabarz!
  12. 5 out of 6 Danish athletes in the semi finals with the last one yet to start (well, Andreas Martinsen is in the semi due to few starters). A great race by Lobo Vedel, and it would seem like he's able to go faster. Maybe we'll have a new Danish Record. Sara could challenge her own record as well. I hope for a final or two, but with a bit of luck, we could even end up in 4 (I don't think that Troest and Hari have much chances, but the others could do it, if things work out for them.
  13. Well, starting about a minute from the 3rd place and now we're back fighting for the podium. That's pretty much
  14. Hellner! (I'm not watching, but only following the live timing as I'm in class)
  15. Sadly no Danish relay. Not so surprising, as Møller seems to be having problems with illness.
  16. A big step forward by the Swedish skiers, but still far from what was expected before the Championships, especially from Calle. Johan did fine, and I really hope he'll do the relay and feel ready to go for the Olympics in a year. Lasse seems to do fine, though pretty far from the Olympic standard, and Tue a bit better than expected so far.
  17. Several interesting things for me in this race: Has Johan Olsson once again managed to get in shape for the Worlds? Does any of the Swedish skiers show the shape for me to believe in a medal in the relay? Will Martin Møller and Lasse Hulgaard be able to beat the National Olympic standards? Will Tue and Jens beat anybody? Will the Danish skiers show enough for them to decide to start in the relay?
  18. DENMARK After a long time considering, Denmark has a song! It was hard to let go But I closed my eyes in the end And disappeared into your game But now you have forgotten to play it with me whoa It took time To put down my defence, yeah And now you say that I should go But where the heck do you go, when you can't go home whoa I have lain down with you You are right about everything you said But anyone could say that shit I want to hear from your mouth What it is that suddenly disappeared Now you sit there with your gaze strong determined that we are over And now you say that I should go But where the heck do you go, when you can't go home Whoa, yeah where the heck do I go when I can't go home to you? whoauåuåuåu whoa where the heck do I go when I can't go home whoa And now you say that I should go(whoa) but where the heck do I go when I can't go home whoa yeah, where the heck do I go when I can't go home whoa where the heck do I go when I can't go home whoa yeah where the heck do I go when I can't go home to you? whoa (home to you) whoa home to you (whoa) home to you (whoa)
  19. There are without doubt both pros and cons about this potential decision. Pros: Time to reconsider the bidding structure (sure, we still have winter Olympics, but it's still one less) Time for potential bidders to actually be sure they want to bid. We have had more than enough bidders withdrawing after at some level announcing a bid. Two strong bidding countries who may not bid for the Olympics 2028 if losing, will get it. Not risking another bid round ending up with only 2 bidders. That really doesn't help the image of the Games and even more the perception from the public (though of course the costs in general means more than that) Cons: Risk of 2028 hosts withdrawing (that is without doubt easier when the Olympics are a little less than 11 years in the future)(I doubt that USA would withdraw, but I'm not quite as sure about France given the sometimes worrying situation) Potentially missing interesting bids for 2028 (of which you have mentioned some fine ones) Is it fair towards potential bidders for 2028? What will future bidders ending up as second think? I'm sure there are more, but those were the ones I could think of right now.
  20. TEAM DENMARK Belgrade 2017 Men´s Kristoffer Hari (60m) Benjamin Lobo Vedel (400m) Andreas Bube (800m) Andreas Martinsen (60m Hurdles) Women´s Sara Slott Petersen (400m) Stina Troest (800m)
  21. I am very well aware that changes can be made. But this song is nonetheless live. We can expect them to be close to this, and there really isn't much that I like about the song (though it would help, if they cut that terrible violin)
  22. Making a post, tagging the users who are yet to select, should be enough.
