  1. In my opinion Spain is the favourite but France's ceiling is slightly higher than Brazil's thanks to their individual quality. So with an optimal performance they have a good opportunity to win the tournament. On the other side, France has also a bigger chance to get knocked out quite early if you compare them to Brazil and Germany. Joking aside, Iceland has no chance to make the last 8.
  2. For me only 4 teams have a good chance to win the cup, in this order: Spain, France, Brazil, Germany.

  7. In boxing (and judo and a few other sports) the European Games will be valid as 2019 European Championships. Maybe this is a mistake on their site... 48 kg is not a category that is supposed to be part of Minsk 2019, only the Olympic categories (51, 57, 60, 69, 75 kg) are in the programme.

  14. Yes, I know that EPO is not a minor doping offence for any serious sports organization...that was to point out once again the ridiculousness of their bans. Losing a maximum of 6 months of salary is not enough if players can dope heavily in order to be offered multi-year contracts for tens of millions of dollar, risking only a fraction of their salary but not their career.

  21. 3rd. Also Luperi vs Imboden in the quarterfinals. But the Italian Federation should have a word with Errigo for next season, it's clear that competing at the highest level in 2 weapons is not possible anymore.
