You have to consider that 2 more teams qualify to the OQT by ranking, and they will most likely be Pro League teams.

The biggest favourites for me are in team sports or team events in which one team is dominant (Russian team in artistic swimming, USA in women's basketball,...). An individual athlete (even Ledecky) is more likely to have injuries, doping problems, personal problems,...

20 seconds was not simply too little, it was ridicolous for Dumoulin...he should have got a couple of minutes of penalty, given the fact that the punishment must be based on the time and the number of times that you stay behind cars (which is greater than the time you gain, which in turn was much more than 20 sec. in this case). A cheater got away almost unpunished in this case, and this will probably have a great influence on the final standing.

If only the thousands of people (teams staff, tv and press reporters in cars, spectators,...) had some mobile devices that you can use to film, we would see dozens of videos around the internet in which Demare is holding onto cars during this tour! Even Greipel accused him (I mean, he presented false data and later deleted the accusation, but who cares, Demare is guilty). However, let's ignore the fact that one of the top guys was caught when he illegally gained dozens of seconds (much more than 20) that could be decisive for the win/podium...let's not complain about the jury in that case because that was not cheating, only a tactical move
