  7. Karate is better than taekwondo, let alone all the other new pseudo-sports they are introducing. Joke events to satisfy the hosts is the way we are going.

  10. Young grasshopper Ivet Goranova is coming to take names.
  11. The hosts always do good, because they have to fight for the nations pride. Doesn't matter if the rest are treating it as a C event. Don't know about many of the combat sports, but in gymnastics BLR had the host bump in numerous situations. When it comes to the European Games, the hosts seems liked are subscriped for second place, after Russia, so Poland should be on the look out in 4 years.

  13. Taybe lost wow She said this is just part of her preparation for the Worlds, but still it is a slight surprise.

  16. Why do our TV choose to air that stupid athletics stuff all the time is beyond me. Like we are not even competing now. Wrestling, boxing are shown only on our athletes...
  17. We are having more medals with lesser events, than in 2015 lol. Still more than just one title will be welcomed.
  18. What, no talk of removing wrestling, boxing, weightlifting or any other sport the East is good at. I'm disappointed.
  19. Not their fault that the people of Switzerland, Norway or Austria don't want to host the WOG. Or that the stupid IOC chose freaking South Korea over Germany. Russia / US / Canada have hosted in the same period as Italy, although i'm sure Vladimir can host every 4 years if they'd let him. Not much powerhouses left i reckon. Sweden just had a poor bid, with not much political support and not to mention proposing a second place in Sigulda, in Latvia, for the sled sports, which for me is unacceptable.
  20. WOG back in a country with traditions - CHECK Having iconic and regularly used venues - CHECK Enthusiastic fans that know and love the sports - CHECK Keeping the Games in one country and with a close proximity - CHECK Potential good weather and real snow - CHECK No bad time zones - CHECK I love Italy as a whole - CHECK Seems like a great decision by my account.
  21. Haven't watched aerobics before, but i think i found my new crush. @Ana Maria Stoilova
  22. People can say whatever about 3x3, but i just can't take it as a serious sport. I'm watching it and it does nothing for me.
  23. Ivanov was going for the discipline medal, that's why he chose 2.28 each time. And rightfully so, no need to burden with that team mishap.
  24. It was bound to happen, nothing that surprising. In 2015 40 out of the 50 countries got medals and i'm thinking around the same number again this time.
