From the names i see on the official site, we are mostly sending our "A" athletes in wrestling, boxing, judo and shooting. Nothing that surprising, with the omission of the Stoevi sisters in badminton, which will no longer represent Bulgaria in major competitions. But that was known for a month, so it's not new.

The conspiracy people have risen to say, that it was all one big fix. Joshua nothing like his previous matches, didn't use much of his strong right hand, being too friendly with Ruiz after match. The mexican market is one of the biggest for boxing, with millions on hand, especially now with a heavyweight champion. If the big money match with Wilder wasn't going to happen, then why not take another root for the bucks. For me, it was nice to see that Joshua was finally humiliated.

Yeah, now it's going to be way harder to see who are battling for what position, what difference is needed etc. I know they probably want a head-2-head fight and not only single people climbing the hill, with the intervals between them, but it really gives away the fight to chase your opponent..

I get the idea that they want all the big teams to play each other. Have more matches, no small groups, no playing the same teams 4 times like in the past. For me it's fairer this way. But then the no relegation rule is just pure BS. Just make the last 2 teams drop, no matter who they are. With 16 teams, the biggest nations will never be in last either way. Also fix the schedule, like i said in a couple of posts. If you want to make the teams play even more serious, give quotas to the Olympics from the VNL. Make a cumulative table of the 3 editions between OG and the top 2 teams earn a spot. There are ways to make this thing not look like a throw-away competition. PS. Good first game for us and a nice win. Didn't watch it, because it was in the middle of the night here, but from the clips i saw, we played with enjoyment. Great performance by Uchikov and with the return of Sokolov this summer, we can have options in attack.

It's hard to get excited for a sport that practically has 3 events in the year and they are nowhere to be seen on the TV. No build-up, no promotion, don't know who are the best athletes, are they competing? The European Games are the perfect thing for such federations / sports to get some attention on them. I can't understand, why they don't want to make the event like a mini-Olympics..

This competition is just to close to the end of the club season. I hate seeing teams play without their best players. It needs to start at the end of june, then have a slight break in august, when it's not an Olympic year and have the big championship in september. Way better schedule..

Nibali let him make time, like a second rate rider and paid no attention to him at all, because he was obsessed with Roglic. If he had a tighter control, Carapaz would still be behind him in the GC, as he made virtually no time, when Nibali started competing against him and not Roglic. Still Carapaz hasn't faded (so far), as one would have predicted last week, so props to him. But, if he had been taken seriously from the let go, i don't think he would be the favorite to win the Giro at this moment.

So Nibali is going to lose another GT in the dumbest way.. The guy should have had 6-7 GTs by now...

Nibali got some time on Roglic, but now he has Carapaz to worry about. Needs more fireworks if he is going to win that 5th GT.

I suppose so. People are just not that motivated for EU elections. Even the parties don't give there all, like in the local/national elections. We will have 17 people, if it's 30 or 70%, doesn't matter.
