    There were only 3 people left.. These are all professionals and the best in the world. The wind wasn't so strong and the snow isn't a problem for them. The jury fucked it up by delaying it soooo long and then lowering the gate so much. With a bigger gate everything would have been normal. But it's a rule, that the jury in ski-jumping are always dumb fools.

    Again, no one in Italy knows the weather forecast ?!? It's not visible, that it's going to snow. They couldn't up the final with 1 hour? There was nothing going on at 18:00. The level of incompetence angers me so much.

    MORONS, COMPLETE MORONS. The jury in ski-jumping are the worst officials decades now in all sports.

    The gate is ruining the final jumps. There is NO SPEED..

    Looks like the expected Slovenia sweep in ski-jumping will end with only 2 golds. It would be disappointing for them, that they didn't reach even 50% win rate.

    Atle Those moments of his frustration and walking away towards the woods will be equally as shown & remembered as the race medalists. Don't know if the big margins from run 1 psyched him that he only needs to finish and the medal/win was his. The more you think "don't screw this up" the more mentally it gits you.

    One has to wonder couldn't they have delayed the first run by 2 hours, so the snowfall had finished.. As we see the weather is clear now and probably has been for a while. Even if they had delayed the second run by 2 hours, it would still be only 15:30 and there are floodlights. And there is practically NOTHING in the Olympics schedule this afternoon, it wouldn't have clashed with anything.

    So Holland is going to finish second in the medal table after being nowhere in the first 6 days of the Olympics.

    Unbelievable how Fontana made a rookie mistake and then how Sarault just let Velzebour casually pass her and never try to overtake..

    Meanwhile in Cortina there is sunshine and no snowfall. Maybe, just maybe they could have had the men's slalom there. It wasn't necessary to have all men's races in Bormio. The weather forecast i known a week in advance at least.

    I've seen slaloms in worse conditions, so it's not something unheard of. It's an outdoor sport after all, you can't always have perfect conditions. You will have to adapt, it is part of the sport.

    Not surprised one bit by Popov also not finishing. He has been doing it regularly and with these conditions and course it was expected.

    Vinatzer not making the finish line was the most expected outcome of the whole Olympics week.
